Import of the Day: Gedeon Burkhard

I did a birthday post before on the German actor Gedeon Burkhard, but thought he deserved a bit more attention. Gedeon may be best known to some for his years on the German tv series 'Kommissar Rex', but my first introduction was in the 1998 movie '2 Women, 2 Men'. Gedeon is has a striking face and and he certainly grabbed my attention. although Gedeon spent some time living in the States, except for a role in the 2002 tv movie 'We'll Meet Again' from a Mary Higgins Clark book, he has not really had a role yet to bring him to mainstream audiences. Hopefully that will change this year as he has a role in the new Quentin Tarantino film 'Inglourious Basterds' with Brad Pitt that is due to be released later this year.

Kommisar Rex is not a German series. It's Austrian. Only the language spoken is German, since it's the language Austrians speak too.
