Dancer of the Day: Kevin Wiltz
I have the greatest respect for dancers. The discipline and work it takes to be a professional dancer is something few can identify with. It has always amazed me that dancers are often see as weak or soft, when in reality they must have is both an inner and outer strength to be able to work their bodies they way they do.
A while ago I was introduced to Indiana born dancer Kevin Wiltz. I attempted to find out more about him, but it was only this past week that I was able to learn more. One of the best blogs on the net, Beautiful has a great profile of Kevin and his recent collaboration with photographer Thomas Synnamon.
Kevin has danced with the American Dance Company in China and Spain and currently is with the Louisville Ballet in Kentucky. Kevin’s dream is to dance in New York and with his profile on the rise, I am sure it is just a matter of time.
Dancers often make the best models. Their ability to use their bodies, and to use movement to create beautiful, dramatic and sensual images. You would never know that Kevin describes himself as shy. Many of the greats are, and Kevin seems destined to become one of the greats! I will watching closely the career of Kevin Wiltz! You can check out more great images and learn a bit more about Kevin at his Myspace Page HERE:
