Can't wait for tonight's long awaited Madonna themed Glee (and this from a non Madonna fan...don't hate me!)
Also, though not on til tomorrow, thought I would give some notice (and I will be making another post tomorrow) that Wednesday nights airing of Accidentally On Purpose marks the last show of the season. I am hoping you all will help me make sure it is not the final show of it's run. Check out this USA Today Poll to help save AOP or another of your favorite shows on the bubble HERE:

A couple of years ago I picked up season 1 of Gossip Girl. I really enjoyed the first season of this show and wrote several blog posts about how great season 1 was. Then came season 2. For some reason there seemed to something missing. The magic of season 1 was gone and I have not watched a complete episode since. I did buy season 2 on DVD last fall, but thus far nothing has motivated me to stick it in the machine. Is there a reason to? Please let me know.
One of my favorite story lines in season 1 wa The Humphrey family and their contrast to the other wealthy families shown. Actress Taylor Momsen played younger sister Jenny Humphrey and had some of season 1 most interesting story lines with her struggle to blend in yet remain herself in her new school and setting.
Actress Taylor Momsen appears to have had some struggles of her own. It was just announced that Taylor is either leaving the show, or at least not going to be shown as prominently next season. Before Gossip Girl, Taylor was best known for her role in the life action Grinch along side Jim Carey.
I always thought Jenny looked her best when dressed as she was above. This contrasts Taylor Momsen who more often than not is photographed as she appears below...
Taylor began GG at the age of 13 and today is still only 15. She is often shown smoking, swearing and looking like she is either getting ready work the pole in some strip club or looking like she is a street kid in need of a good meal and a shower. My question is who is looking out for this child. No matter how old she tries to look, she is indeed still a child. With all the press and trouble many young entertainers get in I question who is guiding Taylor. Given her age, I cannot hold her accountable for her behavior. Her parents, agents and even co-stars and co-workers on GG need to question how this child is behaving. She may want to be a rock star, but before that I hope whoever has any input with her, encourage her to finish school, put down the cigarettes, shut up and get her act together. If she were 18 or 19 I would still worry but she has been acting this way since about 13. Like little Cindy Lou Who it appears Taylor Momsen is facing the Grinch all by her lonesome.
If your a regular reader of FH you know I have featured model and actor Derek Allen Watson many times before. I love posting Derek's work for a couple of reasons. Firstly he is one of the sweetest guys out there. Secondly and most importantly, he is one of the most creative guys out there.
Derek's work is never boring. Derek has one of the most expressive faces I have seen, and his shots are always full of a multitude of emotions.
This shoot by model and photographer Michael McCloud does not disappoint. I was curious to know the inspiration for the shoot. The inspirations could be a clown, the rock giant Kiss with a dash of David Bowie.
Make-up artist Sheena Zargari says ''The idea for the makeup came when I was told the concept behind the shoot was going to be futuristic and the ensemble consisted of black, white, and grey. I wanted something that really stood out in the photos, and being that it was a male shoot I could only do so much. It is kind of a cross between Lady Gaga and KISS!''
The results are beautiful and haunting. Derek's work, unlike Derek himself, often has a haunting, lonely feel to it. Photographer Michael McCloud calls this series, styled was Benjamin Neher, The "Coming Out". Michael McCloud says:
"I live the life I love, and I love the life I live. I have so many dreams, so many aspirations, and I will accomplish every last one of them."
Michael has a wonderful blog I just spent the last while at and he says he created it "to show you my perception of life. See what I do, and why I do it." Michael uses his skill and lighting to create a sense of 'past' with a muted feeling that, when looking at his work had me feeling the way I do when I am looking back nostalgically at some significant time in my past. In the case of Michael's work they are not memories of the past, but instead something far more interesting, these memories seem of the present.

Even with Kate Gossilin robotically moving (yes I guess moving fits) around the floor last night on Dancing With The Stars, Jake Pavelka made the viewing worth it. Pavelka out Cruised Tom Cruise by looking hot beyond belief and stealing the show. Thanks to Superherofan for the amazing caps!
Former Penn state football player, 25 year old Jed Hill, with his great body and great face took the natural path to modeling after after finishing school. I say natural because Jed has a look the camera eats up. I love the combination of Jed's strong body with his beautiful sensitive eyes.
