Drenched Denim: Daniel by Unlimited Male

Every time I profile the work of South Carolina photographer Jay from Unlimited Male, I am hit with how pure the work is. Jay clearly is passionate about shooting and the joy shows in all of the resulting images.

I first featured Jay's work 25 year old Daniel this past summer. (Simpatico: Daniel by Unlimited Male) I was instantly captivated with Daniel's face and smile and his incredible sex appeal. Daniel photographs as so natural and unassuming which makes him even more attractive.

The first piece, although there were a few images of Daniel in a field, most of the images were studio shots showcasing Daniel's body and incredible personality. This time, Jay and Daniel headed outside to the lake. Jay again beautifully captures what makes Daniel so appealing, his personality shines through each of the images and Daniel seems equally comfortable wet or dry, clothed or completely naked. With each new shoot, Jay's skill as photographer is more and more defined and these images, especially those with Daniel around the rocks, are some of his best, and my favorites to date.

Most people's experience with wet jeans is nearly as hot as the drenched denim clinging tightly onto Daniel. For me, I associate wet jeans to getting on the school bus on rainy days, sneakers and jeans soaked from the puddles I had to maneuver to make it through the parking lot to where the bus sat waiting. If it was a particularly cold day, the jeans didn't just get wet, they cold and hard and it was always a relief to peel them off once you got home.

Watching Daniel's jeans peel off is equally pleasurable, but Jay reports the day of the October shoot was a cold one and despite the heat generated in the images, both photographer and model ended up getting pretty wet during the completion of the shoot.

'Danny, as always, is an incredible model to work with. We had a lot of fun with this shoot despite the fact that it was mid-October and the water was freezing. He took it like a trooper and I think we got some of the best images we've gotten so far. I, on the other hand, wasn't too happy when I slipped on a rock and fell in the water...'

'Fortunately I was able to hold my camera above my head and keep it from getting wet. I can't say the same for my phone which was in my back pocket. It was time for a new one anyway and that was just the excuse I needed. Danny got a good laugh out of it which made the rest of the shoot even more fun since he wasn't the only one who was wet and freezing his butt off. We're hoping to do another outdoor shoot once it warms up. Danny really is a great, easy-going guy and I wish him success in all of his modeling endeavors.'
