'Shorts should only be worn on the tennis court or on the beach.'
Tom Ford
With all due respect to designer and filmmaker Tom Ford, but he fashion senses are off when it comes men in shorts. Ford should know better! He went though his 20's in the 80's when short shorts, tight shorts and cut-offs were all the rage. Many of us don't spend our days at the beach, or on the tennis court and we too deserve to enjoy checking out a great set of legs and thighs.
One of the most enjoyable signs of spring are the first sightings of hottie in shorts. Now I'm not talking ab out the guys who where shorts all year round, that I can't get behind, especially in the dead of winter. But... when the temperatures start staying consistently above the freezing mark, it's time for the shorts.
There's also something about shorts from the eighties that hit differently. Or, maybe it's just the images. But the shorts often seem paired with a crop top, or squeezed on a hot shirtless guy. I hate when my mother used to turn ripped jeans into cut-offs, but now pay big bucks when I find a great fitting pair to buy.
It wasn't just spring that had me thinking about hot men in shorts, it was a post I did last week. When I looking for images of 80's model Arno Terschegget, (HERE:) I didn't find much on Arno. I did however, end up on more than a few sites spotlighting models from the decade with many hot shots of male models in shorts.
