I love Nathan Lane, his movies and television roles, and his talk show appearances. Whenever Lane is guesting on a show, I try to watch, or set it to record on my DVR. Lane made the round recently to promote the Broadway revival of Death of a Salesman. When I checked out the show's page, I was impressed the play's entire cast.
The cast is make up of incredible talents. In addition to Lane, it includes Laurie Metcalf, Christopher Abbott, (who I featured HERE:) Ben Ahlers, who I love on The Gilded Age and actor Jonathan Cake. I've long been a fan of Cake, since first seeing him as Bree's tall and sexy boyfriend on a few seasons of Desperate Housewives. Unfortunately his character turned out to be one of the show's many villains, but they still managed to get him shirtless several times before the turn. I also love Cake's wife, the equally talented Julianne Nicholson.
Although the English actor has appeared in many American productions, he has a vast array of film, television and theatre credits in the UK. The shot above features Cake, along with actress Joaquina Kalukango in a scene from the 2013-2014 Royal Shakespeare Company and Public Theater production of Antony and Cleopatra.
Cake also bared his skin in scenes beyond just roles on stage. Below, he's getting make-up applied to his nips for a scene in And Just Like That. The talented actor has exposed more than just his nips on-screen however, but also his tip, and of course his sweet cakes. Check out more on THE NEXT PAGE HERE:
