KJ Apa in The Map that Leads to You
'I didn’t know that day that I was going to be showing my ass, Had I known, maybe I would’ve shaved it.'
I think my crush on actor KJ Apa, and it was an intense one, began with the image above. Behind the scenes paparazzi hots of a shirtless Apa appeared in magazines and on-line from the filming of the pilot of Riverdale. Even without a clear shot of his face, Archie Andrew's abs were a site to behold!
It didn't take long for FH to have regular updates, (HERE:) on Apa, Casey Cott and the other hotties from the show. Sadly, my love for the series disappeared fairly quickly. After really enjoying season one, the writing and direction had me tuning out soon after. My lust for Apa however, has not waned.
More Monumental Moments of Male Skin
Not all of the images below will be considered by everyone as 'monumental'. Many, are just some of my favorites. I wanted to include an image from the WNBR, and I think the cutie above is one of my favorite riders. I featured him previously on the site. (HERE:) I just loved his look, his smile, and how much joy he seemed to be having. I also loved his painted artwork, encouraging our gaze to slide downwards.
Some of the images below are definitely iconic, many appearing in magazines and periodicals. Others, are just a few of my favorites, especially some recent images, I also wanted to weave in. When I was able to, I included information about the image. I know there are some images conspicuously missing. Some, I omitted on purpose, others I left out as I'd previously featured them on the site. Love to know if any FH viewers have other suggestions for a future follow-up?
Many of have seen the hottie in the images above, I've seen it shared in many stories about streakers. The image of the the streaker was taken on the 18th green during the114th Open Championship played at Royal St Georges Golf Club on July 21, 1985 in Sandwich, England.
There is no real explanation for the image above, only that the streaker appeared in an issues of the New York Daily News in 1975. I'm not sure if it was so much the nude man, or the facial expression of the woman that made the image so memorable.
When I was researching the image above, I thought it was of a European streaker at some cultural moment or event. It ends up, it's a still from a movie. If features Czech actor Rudolf Hrušínský in a famous streaking scene from the 1987 musical Diskopríbeh. Another movie to add to my list!
So many images like the one above appeared in College and University yearbooks in the 1960's and 1970's. Such a simpler time, when people protested not with violence, but by running naked through a crowd. The image above is from the 1970's comes from a hot butted streaker from the Rice University in Texas.
The naked protesters, (above and below) are from a demonstration on the Binnenhof, (Government office i)n the Hague, Netherlands The protest was over student costs and fees and the high cost of education.
Among his many accolades and successes, artist Andy Warhol also became somewhat synonymous with hot naked men. Maybe especially his movies, which brought us many iconic scenes, and visuals of the equally iconic Joe Dallesandro. (many that you can enjoy on FH HERE) I also especially love the shot above by photographer Christopher Makos. In the 1977 image, Andy is capturing photographing male nude physique model Bobby Houston.
Now, I may need some help with the image above. Despite appearing very iconic, it was hard to find any factual information. I initially assumed it was from a protest, most likely in the 1960's or early 1970's in the Washington Reflecting Pool. Unfortunately, I couldn't confirm. Anyone know anything more?
I love the image above. The beautiful men, completely naked, enjoying a moment of peace of fun in the midst of the horrors of war. The images comes from the Finnish Defence Forces photo archive, covering the period from 1939 to 1945. In addition to combat photos, the collection also included photographs of soldiers' just trying to survive and be as normal as possible in their daily life.
The image above is also one I couldn't find specific information on. With so many men and woman protesting with nudity in the 60's and 70's, it makes sense there were also many naked people arrested. Now the amount of officers for these two naked, and unarmed streakers seems extreme, I'm can't be sure sure what let up to the take-down and arrest. 'Polizei" however is German if that helps anyone at all.
The image above certainly isn't 'iconic', but it did stand out to me. Having entered adolescence at the end of 1980's, the image is like both a terrifying, but equally pleasurable Déjà vu. I have many memorable locker room memories as a kid from my days in school, playing sports and taking swimming lessons.
I have no idea where the image below came from, but it's one of my favorite cfnm images. Love to know the source and context. It's doesn't appear staged enough to be an adult film promo shot, but I'd love to know if there are more shots from the shoot and what contest the lucky girl was judging.
Leather Bound: Alex by Saki
'Alex enjoys his fetish accessories.'
For a long time, I thought fetishes were something to keep hidden. Sexual impulses that should be kept in secret in the dark. I've grown to believe that weaving your passions together is really the healthiest way to handle the different impulsions, passions and parts of our lives. That weaving together of parts is exactly what photographer Saki achieved in his shoots with Alex Hey.
Often, when a fetish is photographed, the model captured can look completely different than they usually do. It's like instead of shooting another side of someone, the goal is shoot someone else. It's as if there's a split, where the different sides are opposing sides and are unable to cohabitate. In this series of shots, Alex remains the same beautiful man he was in the previous set of images. The only real difference is the leather.
I think one of my favorite shots is the image below. It speaks to the vulnerability I referenced and is such a beautiful shot of the aftermath of a very well spent Sunday afternoon.
