Richard Burton in The Sandpiper

'A free-spirited single mother forms a connection with the married headmaster of an Episcopalian boarding school in Monterey, California.'

Back in 2011, When actress Elizabeth Taylor died, I mention in my R.I.P post that I had never seen any of her movies.  I'd seen clips of course and a few scenes on-line, and was little embarrassed I'd never actually watched one of her films.  At that point, I really wasn't into classic cinema at all, and rarely watched anything made before the 1980's, except maybe at Christmas.

I've made up for that since however.  Many friends, and many FH readers gave me a long list of films to check out.  I started with the 1966 classic, Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? and really loved it.  The four leads were all phenomenal int their roles, especially legendary actor Richard Burton.  Despite loving Burton's performance, I didn't really find him physically attractive, nor was Burton's character, history professor George, supposed to be sexy.

Recently I caught 1965's The Sandpiper on TCM, and this time, I appreciated Burton's talent, and his own brand of sexy.  I loved the movie from the get go, with the iconic Bixby Bridge, and scenes around the California's visually stunning Big Bur area.  The movie matches that beauty from beginning to end, and although I enjoyed the story, Laura's, (Taylor) beach house had me dreaming of living in a home just like it.  Watching The Sandpiper also had me wanting to watch more of Burton's on-screen roles.  Although sadly there was no nudity that I could find, there were plenty of shirtless scenes, (and a few speedo and skivvies) worth a look.  Check out my finding on the NEXT PAGE HERE:

A Quick Jaunt to the Island

Rob

'Life's a beach, Love's and Island....'

Kendall

This may be my one and only post this summer about Love Island USA.  I'd never seen much of the show, other than a few episodes here an there.  It's a big commitment for a show that runs four or times a week.  I started the UK version last fall, when it was almost over, and watched about a dozen episodes over a few weeks before stopping.  The show had already ended, and once I saw the winners on-line, there wasn't much reason to continue.

Miguel

But... I do keep up with some of the men coming and going, especially given the show often casts male models as contestants. With that in mind, and thanks to Daviid at Dreamcaps however, I had to give this season a little look see.   Last week, I noticed his thread entitled speedos on Love Island, and had to check out the pics.  It seems the show loves to get their male contestants out of as much of their clothes as possible, they have speedo competition's, underwear parties and other similar events.

I started the show and have now watched about seven episodes.  I'm sure I'll continue, but it might again be after the show's ended before I do.  Let me start by saying they have assembled an incredibly hot cast of men.  I was especially drawn to Kendall, the snake gay Rob and the ultra hot Miguel.  Miguel looks hot now, (first above) and hot in his early modeling shots. (last 2 above)

Connor

There was one muscled hottie, wearing just a pink speedo, that I was especially drawn to.  The Clark Kent looking stud is Connor Newsum, who,  (spoiler alert) has already been kicked off the Island.  Connor looks exactly like a guy I worked with for many years.  He's a gym guy, with a handsome chiseled jaw and face.  They could have been twins, but the guy I worked with would have been about 11 or 12 years older than Connor.

If you haven't been watching, but want to check out Connor and the other Island hotties in their speedos and skivvies, flip on over to the NEXT PAGE HERE:

Pour La Bonne

'This shooting without taboos would be nothing without the professionalism of Cyprien Leym.'

There were several sites back in the late 2000's that inspired me to start FH.  One was the old Oh La La Mag.  Many fans of the male form may remember the site, and incredible models and artists it featured.  It was through Oh La La that I was first introduced to French artist and photographer Cyprien Leym.

I think one of the first shoots of Leym's that I saw on Oh La La was his work with model James Ratliff.  I featured some of the shots in post back in 2011. (HERE:) I loved how how Leym captured the male form, especially his weave of elegant and erotic.  Although more common now, 'elegant' was an adjective that was always associated with images of the nude male form.

Leym's work is clean, sexy and beautifully distinct.  Leym's shots always stand out, even with models who've shot with dozens and dozens of photographers.  I've been following Leym's work for awhile now, and recently came up on this series I saved from MichaelAndrews73a and his site Naked Calendar Men.  Sadly, the site is no longer there, but I'm grateful I saved some of my favorite sets before it disappeared.

Tous Nus!  Sans tabous-Pour La Bonne, was is a 2012  initiative from Jean-Marc Morandini, the radio host and TV presenter, who wanted to support the sports association "Les Érables" which helps people with mental disabilities. Models gathered to pose gracefully and completely naked in front of Leym's lens. All profits from the sale of photos for the operation were be donated to the association.

The goal that the AS "Les Érables" has set for itself is to offer people with mental disabilities welcomed within the Jules Ledein association physical and sporting activities, adapted to everyone, regardless of physical abilities, psychological and cognitive aspects of each person.

Ultimately, a great action, which Jean-Marc Morandini was able to carry out successfully, with the aim of helping an association for mental disabilities which constantly promotes its wide range of sporting activities, where the level of everyone is taken into account.
