Let Me Tell You A Storrie

Two rival hockey stars at the top of their game face an unexpected challenge when they develop feelings for each other, complicating their careers and the sport's expectations.

The storrie in this case is actor Connor Storrie, and the story is Heated Rivalry, the new Canadian television show based on the gay themed hockey romance novel by Rachel Reid.  From the promo pictures, Heated Rivalry looks hot, and the six episode season premieres in November on the Canadian television network Crave.

I first took note of Storrie after seeing him in the gay themed teen drama Riley a couple of years ago. Storrie's love interest in the show is played by the equally hot Canadian actor Hudson Williams.  Some of you may have seen Williams on television in his guest appearance in Tracker or his various roles in Hallmark films.

In the series, Williams is playing pro hockey star Shane Hollander of the Montreal Voyageurs and Storrie is playing Boston Bears captain Ilya Rozanov. So far, I haven't been able to find a US network that will be airing the show, but if popular, I'm sure it can be found.  You can check out updates on the series on Instagram HERE:

CarIcies: The Virus of Loneliness

'I would surrender to whoever who would take me.'

Lovers of the male form in film most likely have already heard or, or even seen the 1998 Spanish film CarIcies. (Caresses)  The film, from writers Sergi Belbel and Ventura Pons, (Pons also directed) is the story of urban love in eleven interlocking scenes in which isolated urban dwellers seem to pass the virus of loneliness from one person to the next as they move through the city.

Set in Barcelona, intense emotions and connections are explored through different relationships, including family members and romantic relationships between different ages, generations and genders. The theme, the struggles with communication, even when there is close, intimate contact.

For lovers of the nude male form, there are three actors who appear fully nude in the film.  Most, tend to give the most attention to the bathtub scene.  The scene features father Home, (Sergi López) stripping down and joining his teenage Nem (Naim Thomas) in the bathtub.  The scene is not necessarily overtly sexual, but there is certainly an erotic intimacy as the father and son discuss their bodies.  I did not include the scene, but thanks to xyzpdq, I did upload on SendSpace for anyone who wants to watch.  You can download it HERE:

Of more interest to me is this scene featuring the beautiful Spanish actor Roger Coma.  Coma plays Noi, who is obviously there to service the much older Home Gran. (Jordi Dauder)  Now, I'm not sure of the details of this scene, but I think you can get the idea.  I watched the entire film last weekend, but the version I found was in Spanish without any English subtitles. 

Now 48, actor Roger Coma would have been about 21 at the time of filming.  I love the way Pons shot this scene, specially the focus on bush when Coma's Noi removes his clothes.  You can download a slightly longer version of the scene below, (again thanks to xyzpdq) on SendSpace HERE:  If anyone knows where I can find a copy to download with English subtitles, let me know.  If not, I'll have to buy an old fashioned DVD which I've seen on Amazon.
