I tend to think I don't like clowns, yet looking back, I can't help help but notice that they have been recurring theme on FH. Creepy clowns, scary clowns and sexy clowns, I've covered, and un-covered them all, even doing a day of posts focused on the red noses and pancake make-up last year. (HERE:)
Clowns and Halloween just go together. A skilled clown has the ability to take on whatever personality or emotion the person under the make-up is wanting to portray. Some of my most vivid childhood nightmares included frequent appearances from a horrifying clown. They are part of my horror history, therefore marking a place...welcomed or not, in my nightmares, and all of my future Halloweens.
