Although actor and model Darien Martin has been in a Hallmark Christmas movie, I'm still a few weeks away from starting my Christmas themed 12 Days posts. I know many start decorating for Christmas right after Halloween, but as much as I love the holiday, I usually wait until the beginning of December.
I did however, finally watch a Hallmark movie I had saved on my DVR. I think Journey of My Heart aired late in the spring, and although I recorded it, the title didn't really inspire me to rush and watch. The film's original title was actually Love on the Wings of Eagles, which is probably even worse. I almost deleted it without watching, but decided to turn it on Sunday night while painting trim in the hall leading to my kitchen.
I'm glad I did. The movie was ok, but the scenery was beautiful, including the visually stunning Darien Martin. I hadn't heard of the Canadian actor before, but will certainly be keeping my eye on from here on in. In addition to several Hallmark movies, Martin has also had roles in shows including: DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, V.C. Andrews’ Pearl in the Mist, Arrow and The 100.
