'Summer should be fun!'
If I were playing 'Fuck, marry, kill' with the first half of season one of Summer House, Kyle Cooke would have been my kill. The way he played his ex-girlfriend made him him the king of douche bags. He also has the stereotypical look of a rich, privileged frat guy, and one that in his mid-thirties, still hadn't grown up. I have to say though, about half-way through that first season, Carl took over my kill, with Kyle sliding easily into the fuck category.
His douche behavior didn't go away, not entirely anyway, but he seemed to have a good heart, and unlike Carl, had regrets about his shitty behavior. He's also got a maturity about him, well, when he's not drinking anyway. As much as his heavy drinking gets Kyle in trouble, it also leads to frequent stripping, streaking and skinny dipping.
The nudity is hard to capture on Summer House, not because it's not frequent, it is, but because of the shows editing. Most of the nudity occurs in the transition scenes, often in a small block. It's also so quick, if you turn away for a second, you miss it. All of the guys however, bared their butts on-screen, with Kyle showing his lily white ass more than anyone else on the show.
Kyle loves being naked, and seems to forget about the cameras, especially late at night after he's been drinking. Given all he drinks, and all the junk food he shoves in late at night, it's amazing he's kept his 5'11" frame to tight. I recently saw on-line that Kyle and Amanda, (the girlfriend he treated so badly in season 1) got married. It's almost enough to move him from kill, to fuck, to marry. I'll let you know... I sort of had enough of the show after season 2, but might dip into season 3 in the New Year. Thankfully the seasons are short, about 10 episodes a season, so they can be watched pretty quickly.
