FH readers know I love movies that mash-up themes, especially the weaving of Christmas with horror. Each year, I manage to find a few ones to share. A couple of years ago, I featured the original 1984 flick Silent Night, Deadly Night. (HERE:) Today, it's the 4th installment from the franchise, 1990's Silent Night, Deadly Night 4: Initiation.
The film included a nude scene from an actor some of you may remember from the 1990's. Actor and comedian Tommy Hinkley was a fixture on network television in the 90's with appearances on shows including Ellen, Night Court, The Golden Girls, MacGyver, Who's The Boss and Murphy Brown.
Mad About You
Tommy also appeared in the first 13 episodes of Mad About You. He played Jay, one of Paul's college friends. The character was written out and disappeared after the first season. Jay was sort of replaced after that with the character of Ira. Hinkley continued to work steadily on television and in films until about 2013. According to IMDB he's back acting with two recent shorts on his resume.
