The Great British Bake Off started it's new season last week, and for me, not a moment too soon. The show can be corny for sure, like that Jurassic opening, but it's also like a ray of sunshine and an injected dose of joy. Even Noel didn't bother me that much, and I am not a Noel fan... FH readers may remember I did a thee page tribute to the hotties from the show early last year. (introduced HERE:)

I really needed that joy injection. Although the orange anus in The White House has long been depressing, it seems with each passing day he does something more stupid, more corrupt, more dangerous and harmful. I wasn't shocked by his latest rant about Rosie O'Donnell, it was just another attempt to distract from his idiocy and failures. I do however, find myself continually saddened by how many American's support such cruelty.
O'Donnell, like us all, is a failed human being, but she is also a mother, a heart attack survivor and someone whose work has brought more joy, and whose charitable work and philanthropy has given more back to the country than that racist asshole every could or would.
We all have Rosie's in our family. That lesbian aunt no one talks about. Our loud mouthed brother, or overly opinionated mother. Maga's have Rosie's in their families as well, and they would never let an bloated babbling baboon treat them the way dear leader treats Rosie, or really any American who doesn't bend the knee.
Sorry for the rant, but sometimes I, like many of us, get overwhelmed with the hate and negativity that surrounds us. I don't have derangement syndrome, I simply have a brain, and a heart still capable of empathy, and caring about others. The ass wipe hasn't just stollen billions of American's money, he's taken their rights, their health care, their safety and their spirit. When I'm overwhelmed I need a little escape, and one of my favorite places of safety is the big white tent.
I know there are assholes in the UK, and all over the world, but through the lens of the tent, the baker's are group of normal people, a group of Rosie's, hopeful hearts coming together for a joyful competition. There are so many sweet baker's every year, (and a few duds) and this year, there were many sweet smiles who helped brighten my week. I especially loved me a little Tom, the tall gay stud who wowed the judges with his cake in the show stopper. If you need a dose of joy, I encourage you all to check out the premiere of the latest season. Even if it's just a little taste.

Well, as these images prove, Lucas Bloms, (Luca Paul) certainly grew out of that awkward stage! Although he's been modeling for awhile, it wasn't until recently that I discovered Lucas' work. I was searching for another model with a vast collection of underwear shots in their portfolio. As fans of the male form well know, sometimes underwear shots, can be oddly even more revealing than a full nude.
