Shall We Dance:
Although ruthless, there was something sexy about Tywin Lannister, the patriarch of House Lannister of Casterly Rock. Sure he ordered people to be killed, sure he raised some screwed up kids, not to mention that one of his kids killed him in a rather undignified manner. Yet, in the hands of the brilliant English actor Charles Dance, Tywin was still one hot, but despicable daddy.
Recently the 77 year-old actor was photographed by the paparazzi enjoying himself on a nudist beach. Dance and his girlfriend Alessandra Masi were caught letting it all hang out on a beach on the Spanish island of Formentera. Dance was looking really hot for 77 and obviously works out to keep fit. Given Masi is a 'wee' bit younger, I'm sure she's helping with his fitness routine.
Although the images thus far have all been censored, he have seen Dance's derriere before. Although he kept fairly covered up on Game of Thrones and on The Crown, Dance has shown a bit of skin in his over 40 year career.
The Blood Oranges (1997)
' A swinging married couple pursues erotic pleasures with a dangerous husband and wife while vacationing in Italy.'
Most notable, might be Dances turn in the 1997 drama The Blood Oranges. Dance was 51 at the time, and looked hot in his erotic scenes, including the film's opening scene with co-star Sheryl Lee.
Favorite Face of the Day: Cyril O'Reilly
When I catch a re-run of Murder She Wrote on TV, I usually skip the episodes in which Jessica is traveling. I like her firmly planed in Cabot Cove Maine solving mysteries by the seashore. I especially avoided her trips to Ireland, which for some reason I never enjoyed. I know the show's Maine scenes were shot in California, but some of the scenes from 'Ireland' were especially poorly shot.
Murder She Wrote (1988)
A few weeks back however, I stopped when watching a 1993 episode entitled 'A Killing in Cork.' I stopped not because of the story or the Irish countryside, but because of the handsome face lighting up the screen. The actor was Cyril O'Reilly, who appeared in 3 episodes of the old CBS mystery show. Even appeared shirtless, (above) in one, but not the Ireland set episode that I recently caught.
Splendor in the Grass (1981)
I actually featured O'Reilly before in a small piece back in 2009 (HERE:) One of my summer reads that year was Melissa Gilbert's autobiography, and she spoke glowingly about the actor. The two dated briefly back in the early 1980's around the time they were making the television re-make of the classic Splendor In The Grass. O'Reilly played Bud, the character Warren Beatty played in the original.
When I did that first post, I hadn't seen the re-make, but since found a copy and enjoyed it much more than I thought I would. I usually hate re-makes, especially of classics, but O'Reilly was both engaging and compelling in the role. I also enjoyed the classic shower scene with Bud's friends. In the original actor Gary Lockwood played Alan 'Toots' Tuttle, and in the re-make he's played by actor Jim Youngs. I'm a big fan of Young's work in the 80's and previously featured him on FH (HERE:). There is no nudity in either scene, and the re-make mostly focus's on faces, but those faces are incredibly hot.

I've seen O'Reilly in a few of his old television guest roles the last year. In addition to Murder She Wrote, I also recently caught his appearance as prisoner Mike Kinney on repeat of a 2002 episode of ER.

Porky's (1981)
Of course one of O'Reilly's most famous roles was in the Porky's series from the 80's. O'Reilly played Tim in both the original Porky's and Porky's II, The Next Day. Tim was sort of the groups 'leader' and was a part of the infamous 'cabin scene.' I saw the Porky's series on VHS when I was a kid, and have loved looking back at the many scenes of male skin from the trilogy.
You can't see much of O'Reilly in the DVD version of the cabin scene, but it does appear he was fully nude during the filming. The old VHS version showed a bit more, and it appears there's a brief frontal when the guys walk to the back door at the end of the scene.
Although the film does deal with issues of race and antisemitism, the cabin scene doesn't really hold up that well. Emotional Expressionist: Sébastien by Briancan Photography
'My favorite shoots are those that have a creative/thematic component or an interesting setting.'
We're taught never to judge a book by it's cover, and for the most part, I try my best to follow the intent of the famous phrase. The key word for me is judge, and not necessarily that the outside can't mirror what lies within. Sometimes, the outside can be a visual expression of the unique characteristics which make up the many chapters and pages of person or story they represent.
Whenever I think of a artist, maybe especially a French artist, there are certain visuals that spring to mind. It might be because I watched too many softcore French movies when growing up, but my casting choice has remained pretty consistent over the years. My artist is curious, creative, and passionately disciplined. Normally they're gentle and patient, but during the creation process, that passion can sometimes turn intense and all-consuming,
Physically their stylish, yet not concerned in the least with fashion. Most have expressive eyes, fit, but not overly muscled bodies, and of course long flowing hair. They must have that long hair so they pull it back or up in a bun when in overalls at their easel, or shirtless while at their pottery wheel. Of course this is a fantasy, the visual result of my luxuriant imagination.
I don't know if Montreal based artist Sébastien Clermont has spent anytime at a pottery wheel, but I have seen the stunning and colorful results of his art. The visual artist's Instagram is stunning collection of his works, visual book covers to the themes, emotions and mysteries that he explores through his art. Sébastien is an expressionist artist whether standing in front of a canvas, or in front of a camera. Regardless of of the medium, his goal, and the visual results, is a purposeful expression of emotion.
Some of you might remember my 2022 feature spotlighting Sébastien, and his work with photographer Chris Teel. (Visual Strangers) In that piece, when I asked about his favorite modeling experiences, Sébastien responded that one that first came to mind, was a particular shoot on a beach at Scarborough Bluffs. Sébastien expressed how liberating it was being naked in the natural landscape. This reaction made perfect sense given one of Sébastien's artistic goals is the expression of the underlying connection between humans and their environment,
It made sense then, when featuring more of Sébastien's modeling work, to feature the photographer who shot him at the Bluffs. Many FH readers know the work of Briancan Photography, I've been fortunate to have featured many of Brian's shoots, including both his studio and location work. I even featured a series of images focused solely on the many models he's captured at the Bluffs. (HERE:) Brian and Sébastien have worked together multiple times over the years, and when I asked Brian about his work with Sébastien, he sent on a variety of shots both in studio, and outside. Most of my favorites, ended up being from location shoots.
It was several years ago that Brian first reached out to Sébastien about photographing him. Brian loved his look immedeately, and remembers noticing how amazing his abs were and how his long hair framed his face giving him a very natural look. Although Sébastien's hair was flowing loosely for part of the shoot, I deliberately choose images with it pulled back. In part I think it was that fantasy visualization I had of an artist at work, but I also just liked how it looked. Pulled back, there is more of a focus on Sébastien's facial structure and features, not to mention his his beautiful eyes.
'Sébastien's Instagram is very artistic and he loves to travel. With so man varied interests, we have so much to talk about during our shoots. Sébastien is very relaxed and always does great poses that take advantage of his fitness and his look. He's also completely comfortable with being nude. I think we have shot at least 4 times now. I have already reached out to him to be in touch if he comes back to the Toronto area this summer.'

In today's political environment, silence is not an option. These men fought against fascism and autocracy. Their sacrifice and massive loss of life was about preventing, not facilitating the return of a hateful cult lead dictatorship.
