Favorites Of Favorites: Brandon Ruckdashel
Here at F H and other Things I have always strived to be more than just a blog that jutt posts pictures of great looking guys. I am interested in more than just appearance, but getting to know more about the talented actors, artists, models and photographers that I profile. There is nothing more appealing than talent and I am excited to begin a new feature with some of the most talented people I have featured on the blog. The series is called 'Favorites of Favorites' and it will feature the Favorite things of some of the Favorite People I have featured.
I am very pleased that the first person to be featured is actor and singer Brandon Ruckdashel. Brandon is not only one of the most talented actors and singers working today, he is also one of the warmest and giving actors I have encountered. If you read my blog on a regular basis you will be familiar with Brandon as I have posted about him and his work many times before.

Brandon's Favorites:
1.Favorite Site you check out daily on the net?
I have three sites that are always open. I'm absolutely addicted to facebook, Cnn keeps me up on the news, and hulu.com is where I watch all of my fave shows.
2.Favorite Meal?
Dinner, I am a completely Midwest meat and potatoes kind of guy... Especially if it involves my salt encrusted dill and herb rubbed steak. If I'm feeling really adventurous as a cook for the evening I whip up my clover honey Merlot reduction sauce.
3. Favorite TV Show?
Californication, David Duchovny is awesome in this series, and its really entertaining..and sexy. I like TV that's hot!
4. Favorite TV show guilty pleasure?
TruBlood, enough said ;-)
5. First celebrity Crush?
I can't even remember at this point. I'm thinking someone from Sesame Street maybe.
6. Celebrity you would go on a date with if you could?
I'd love to pick Sean Penn's brain over a scotch or two...or four...maybe more if it's a single malt.
7. Favorite Thing to do when home alone for a day?
Play my guitar and work on this never ending music project I've been wanting to finish for the last few years.
8. Favorite Part of your job?
I get to play dress up and be another person... and the best part is playing, or in my case misbehaving, with the other actors on stage.
9. Favorite Project you have been a part of?
My favorite stage project to date was "The Next Big Thing." I made a really great friend in, Jason Director, one of my co-stars. My fave TV project would have to be National Debt. I walked on set knowing Jerry Zucker was producing but I had no idea until he arrived that he'd actually be directing the pilot. That was an amazing experience.
10. Favorite Body Part (yours or on another):
Id have to say that Neck and Shoulders are the sexiest body parts followed closely by eyes.
11. Favorite Piece of Clothing you own?
My cowboy boots, they were a gift from one of my friends who was in the national tour of Rag Time.
12. Music that was blaring when you were a kid, when you closed your bedroom, grabbed something as a mike, and pretended to be a rock star.
Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins, Collective Soul... I was a grunge kid.

Pic Series Of The Day: 'Morning Set' by Fabien Lemaire
"Fabien Lemaire was born in 1980, in Meaux, France, and started his photography career at the early age of 12 when he discovered the old camera. His passion is take photos day and night of his environment. Step by step he discovered the digital art of photography like a painter discovers his pencils. While searching for his creative identity, he travelled all over Europe and Canada, Middle East and Morocco going back home full of inspiration of urban landscapes melted with humanity and nature.
In recent years, he accomplished many portraits of artists, featured in fashion magazines and advertising campaigns. He collaborates with a reference image bank and produces documentaries for them. Fabien Lemaire is a passionate man with love for his job and his beliefs. His interview revealed a total dimension not only of the artist if not a man that believe in love for women and men and his defence of equal rights for everybody. Fabien is a beauty outside and inside, a person talking with honest, a young talented French artist."
I love Fabien's work, and 'Morning Set' is one of my favorite shoots. Not only can you see the beauty Fabien's work allows you to feel it. When viewing this set, I could feel the morning, the dew, the coolness the stillness that mornings often bring. Check out more of Fabien's work at his site HERE:

Big Brother
This is my first Big Brother post of the season, and it is too soon to see if it will be the last... I have been very busy this summer, so just sat down last night to watch the first 3 episodes of the season. I do not have the feeds this year and have had little time to check out much on the message boards, so my feelings so far are mostly about the episodes as the air on CBS (which I know are HEAVILY edited).
So far I am not loving anyone with the exception of maybe Casey. I liked Lydia after episode one (thought she was beautiful and cool as hell), but loathed her after episode 2. Was not thrilled Jesse was back (although he is ok eye candy), but was thrilled Cowboy never made it back in. I would have prefered Brian.
I am not loving Big Brother yet this season, but will give it another couple of weeks. I do like Jeff, though I know from the little I have read he and others are not being shown quite like they appear on the feeds. He is a cutie though. I tend to let most off the hook for negative comments they make given we the viewer don't really understand the pressures of being in that house and things we might not otherwise say in real life tend to come out when in that house.
I have enjoyed Big Brother over the years, some more than others. I remember the summer of 2000. I had just finished Univeristy and had my first summer of working full time. Although I missed the freedom of fun filled summers, the physical work I did each day had me staying home most nights going to bed early. I watched the first Big Brother all the time, online (when the feeds were free) and on tv (Do I remember correctly is was on 5 nights a week then?). I loved Big Brother 1, even though many found it boring as hell.
Since then I have watched almost every season (skipped most of 4 and did not watch any of the winter edition). I have had my BB crushes, mostly involving guys named Will. Dr. Will always got me going and I LOVE LOVE Will Wikle, not just because he is adorable, but because he cracks me up. Will is one of the wittiest guys around and needs his own talk show STAT!
Anyway, I shall see how the summer progresses. Big Brother is trash tv at it's best or worst depending on the cast and the twists (once in awhile ok, other times garbage) the producers throw at us. Who is watching and who is your favorite???

Place I wish I had been March 18th: Splash NY
Splash was the place to be this past March when a bunch of my favorite guys were all together for a 6 Degrees Party at Splash. Ronnie Kroell from 'Make Me A Supermodel' was on hand as host and 3 guys I have profiled before, model Miles Miller, model and actor Matthew Lewis and fitness model Scott Herman were all there for the event!
I profiled actor, singer and Model Matthew Lewis last week, be sure to check out that post HERE:

I have profiled fitness model Scott Herman a few times on the blog, and his adorable grin wins me over every time. Many of you have seen the video of Scott modeling for Undergear but here are some pics and caps. As always check out more of Scott at his great site HERE:
