In The Garage
'A man too busy to take care of his health is like a mechanic too busy to take care of his tools...'
About a year and a half ago I was first introduced to UK based model
Marius and his work with photographer Danny Barson. (
Old School) I loved how beautifully Marius moved in front of the camera, not to mention his great face and sultry brown eyes and his fit, not to mention incredibly hot body. So.... when I saw new images of Marius from photographer
Klinikle, I wasted no time in getting in touch!
Originally from Galati, Romania, Marius has been living mostly in England the past several years and it was there he connected with
Klinikle. The Doncaster based photographer has always had a passion for photographer, but after winning a Tesco Sports Photography competition a few years ago, he really began to take his craft more seriously. Klinikle came across Marius on a modelling site back in 2013, and just a few days later, they were off for a photo shoot.
'We went off on location and had a really good laugh as well as getting some great shots. He made the shoot incredibly easy as he is full of ideas and has a natural ability to use light and scenery to make the most of his appearance. By the end of the shoot, we were definitely going to be working together again. Our second shoot turned out to be about two weeks later.'
Klinikle and Marius have shot many times together, many which have not yet been edited or seen publicly. That didn't mean I didn't have tons of images to choose from. Klinikle's portfolio featuring Marius had close to 500 images, most were from location shots with incredible shots of Marius on roof tops, rocks, mountains and in fields.
I hope to feature some of those images later, but given I am doing several outside location pieces this week, I was drawn to two of Klinikle's inside locations. We've all had our auto mechanic fantasy's and I love how Klinikle shot Marius in the garage. There is nothing hotter than overalls sliding off a sexy, oiled up body and Marius knows just how to move and position his blue overalls to achieve the best results.
'The garage shoot you see here was our third or fourth shoot. The owner of the garage was happy for us to it after closing as she had loads of paperwork to catch up on in the office anyway. As always, Marius made it an incredibly easy shoot to do and interacted fantastically with the location. We didn't use motor oil on him, instead opting for a mix of baby oil and charcoal.'
In The Shower
Shortly after shooting at the garage, Marius returned to Romania and Klinikle wasn't sure they'd get another chance to shoot. They kept in contact though, and after a few months Marius returned to England and they arranged another shoot. The shower was an obvious choice to pair with Marius' turn as an auto mechanic. Not only are the images sizzling hot, after a long day at the garage, the first thing you would do once done, is strip off the overalls and head into a hot steamy shower.
'This shower shoot was a bit risky as the bathroom wasn't very big and the lights had to be carefully placed to remain safe. The only way I could get far enough back to get full body shots was to perch myself on top of the toilet. Marius ended up being in the water for about 90 minutes and had very wrinkly fingers, but he didn't complain once. Maris kept coming up with even more ideas!'
