Costume Parade: The After Party 🎃

'Till death do us party!'

Although FH has been hosting our annual costume party and parade for over a decade, it was only a few years ago that we approved cameras at the after-party.  Of course some shots did get out, from rule breakers who didn't put their phones in the pumpkin buckets.  We naively thought we didn't have to worry about it, given most of the guests wore next to nothing, there weren't many places they could hide a phone without it being noticed.  Spandex does tend to show everything....

Those who checked out last year's after-party pics knows that things got a little out of hand...  Our motto, 'what happens in the dark, stays in the dark, didn't actually work out.  Those damned flashes tended to pick up everything, including within those dark corners and crevices of the ballroom.  But, as they say, if you can't beat 'em, join 'em, we embraced the theme.

This years theme was Boo's and Brews, and with both the brews and booze flowing liberally, and most of the contestants wearing next to nothing, you can see how things could get a little out of control. As the evening went on, party attendees were bobbing for more than apples and pinning more than just donkey's to the wall.

Wherever you looked, all you could see was discarded spandex and costumes thrown to the floor in every corner, and every nook and cranny in the building.  Despite having seen it all, there were still a few strange hook-ups I didn't expect.  As expected those dressed as the Heated Rivalry guys were partner swapping, that wasn't a surprise.  It was still sort of surprising seeing the guy dressed as Kelly Clarkson performing an art of play on the guy dressed as the store owner.

I don't want to seem old school, and I know it's 2026, but it's still difficult seeing characters from DC and Marvel together.  This year, it was Superman and his muscular bottom being serviced by twins Wiccan and Speed trying desperately to keep up with his superpowered thrusts.

Overall, most guests were 'relatively' well behaved.  Sure there were a few guests who got out of hand, but mostly, the bulk of the debauchery was kept behind the closed door of the infamous back room.  Although phones and cameras are not officially permitted in the back room, I did notice a few photos from the room leaked by some guests onto social media.  Obviously, they'll be on the guest list for next year!

Below: Batman and Captain America, another odd, but also hot, DC/Marvel match-up

Our little Devil, (below) tied himself to the back-room bed, welcoming visits to hell.  I'm not sure, but I think I saw a few 'Priests' trying vigorously to exorcise something out his body.

Spider-Man is usually one of the party's most popular costumes, but this year we banned the costume.  Not because we don't love it, but because last year, we had cluster of hundreds of web slinging arthropods.  The Web-Head below didn't take it well, and decided to act out by climbing every artificial plant and tree in the ballroom.

Again, strange bedfellows, but then again...if you watched the cartoon, maybe Fred and Shaggy aren't such a strange couple.  I hate to stereotype, but I did wrongly assume that it might Fred as the one on the recieveing end.

The guys below just don't give up.  Although they didn't make the cut in the costume parade, they continued to try to get the judges attention, even at the after-party.

I'm not exactly sure what's going on here, but it does seem that Indian Jones is trying to exhume a mummy to rise from the dead.

I'm pretty positive the image below is AI, not because the guys look so perfect, but because, although there were a few hags, there certainly were not that many women at the FH Bash.
