If you checked out FH in the late 2000's, you saw posts featuring hot Danish model Oliver Bjerrehuus. Oliver would have been in his 30's then, and I featured him several times in my Birthday themed posts. Oliver was discovered by an agent when he was just 17 while out at a nightclub.
Although he modeled in Denmark for a few years, he eventually left when he was 22 for New York. It was there, that his modeling career really took off. He then landed jobs modeling for Calvin Klein, Nautica, and Giorgio Armani. Oliver attempted to break into the acting world in the US, but with limited success. He eventually moved back to Denmark where he gained fame on television in commercials and reality competitions.
It wasn't until this year, that I realized that the now 50 year old Oliver has a 25 year old son Oscar who also entered the family business. In addition to modeling and acting, both Oliver and Oscar appeared in the Danish reality series Mere voksen end Bjerrehuus. (More grown up than Bjerrehuus) The
Danish reality-documentary series has been compared to Keeping Up The Kardashians, in that it's focus is on a family.
The show follows Papa Bjerrehuus, often dubbed Denmark's ultimate "drengerøv" (party boy), and his son, Oscar. The show contrasts Oliver's chaotic, wild lifestyle with his son Oscar's grounded desire for responsibility, stability, and growing up.
