Although I love me some Josh Hartnett and Charlie Heaton, for me, the hottest member of the Penney family in Below is Jay. Actor Rohan Campbell plays the youngest member of the family who comes home from working in Alberta for Home Year. Many Canadians, especially those on the East Coast know, heading to Alberta was something so many did to find work.
Campbell to me is organically hot, and maybe the most authentically Canadian. That's not surprising, as he is actually the only Canadian playing a Penney family member. Campbell hails from Alberta, the province his character moves to for work. Campbell began acting in television movies and films in locally filmed productions in 2008, and was soon earning roles in both Canadian and US produced projects.
In addition to Below, viewers may recognize the handsome and talented actors from guest stints on shows like Supernatural, iZombie, One Upon A Time and Snowpiercer. He also played Frank Hardy on the short lived 2000 television reboot of Hardy Boys franchise. On film, Campbell appeared in movies including: Crash Pad, Diablo and Halloween Ends. He also took on one of my favorite characters, in one of my favorite Christmas horror films, the role of Billy Chapman in the 2024 reboot of Silent Night, Deadly Night.
There's Something in the Water....
