Easy Riders

Bond by New Manhattan Studios

When piecing together New Manhattan Studio's photo Essay Lancaster County, I again went down the rabbit hole on Google..  While searching for just the right 'cowboy' themed titles for the stories, it was happy trails for me.  Check out the findings I roped in on PAGE 2 HERE:

Slam Dunk

The incredibly hot specimen you're staring at, was a deserving choice for one magazine's Man of the Year title.  It wasn't Playgirl though.  Matt Dunk took the title for The Australian Women's Forum magazine and you can see more of Matt on PAGE 2 HERE:

Mark Grossman in South32

'You can't take back what you did.'

I have been crushing over the talented and oh so hot Mark Grossman since he showed up in Genoa City a few months ago.   When it comes to actors on soaps, not many do nude scenes during their daytime runs, as 'sexy' as soaps pretend to be, there's a bit of a puritan attitude on the networks, and producers usually want their cast members to be squeaky clean, sexy and shirtless of course, but clean.

Thankfully, many dropped trou on film before taking their daytime roles, and thanks to a poster on DC, Mark's work in 2016's South32 is beautifully uncovered.  The quality isn't the best, but Mark in motion, most definitely is.

New Manhattan Studios: Rinse Down

Alex

'Alex was the first under the hose when we were still adjusting the temperature. (Believe it or not, we could mix in hot water, it was a real shower area for the horses.) Alex going first, gave permission to the more reluctant straight models to brave it all for the cameras in the shower. Both Bond and Oleks were quite new to all of this at this point and hadn’t yet been quite as fearless on the farm.'

Oleks

FH spent last last weekend in the country, and enjoyed New Manhattan Studios visual chronicling of Alex, Bond and Oleks down on the farm. We enjoyed the three hot models in the barn, in the hay and saddling up for a naked bareback ride on the magnificent horses that live on the farm.

Anyone who's gone riding, or even spent much time in a barn, knows the first thing you do when you're finished, is rinse down and wash off the odors that your skin and body have absorbed.  As erotic it was seeing Wes's images of Bond and Oleks on their naked ride, the three models enjoy their rinse down, was a great way to end the day for them, and a perfect way for FH to close out the series.

The horses weren't the only ones enjoying watching Bond wash off

'At the end of the shoot, Bond was posing nude bathing in a tub (also known as a horse trough) on the outdoors set. We strung up a tarp to shield him from the nearby highway, but he was totally at ease with six other males standing around. That would include only one other straight dude (Oleks), four gay guys. (including the owners of the stables).  Although Evian's (the horse) sexual orientation is undetermined, he was clearly watching Bob as intently as the owners of the stables!  I think we finally tapped Bond's exhibitionism gene!'

Matt Dunk: Australian Women's Forum

'It was the best job in publishing at the time'
Helen Vnuk, Editor

Matt Dunk
Man of the Year
Australian Women's Forum

Australia's version of Playgirl magazine was promoted as a magazine for women who were unashamed about liking sex and loving men.  Launched in the early 90's, Australian Women's Forum (AWF) lasted close to ten years, folding in 2001.

AWF was known for it's regular sections included Studly, featuring real guys who sent their naked pics in, and Sex School, where real couples demonstrated sex positions. The erotic fiction section was called Wet Spot and a monthly feature called Body Talk showed real couples, photographed naked, talking about their bodies.

The focus of the magazine of course were the pictorials of naked men, one of my favorites, the delicious Matt Dunk.  That body, those bangs, and Matt's beautifully long thin penis made for a visually spectacular package.  It is not a surprise Matt was one of the magazine's most popular models, and winner of one the Man of the Year titles.

If some of you recognize Matt, it may be because he also appeared in Playgirl Magazine back in 2003 Matt's layout was shot by Australian photographer Paul Freeman.  Although the bangs were sadly cut, the images were still amazing.  If you want to check out more of Matt, and his August 2003 Playgirl appearance, check out THE OVER-FLOW HERE:

Saddle Up

'Can an old-fashioned cowboy and a young man on the run from his dark past find a future together? Herschel is a simple rancher who believes everybody deserves a second chance, which is why he tends to hire underdogs—like Dalton, a young cowboy who needs all the support and TLC Herschel can offer.'

Sometimes, when I'm struggling to find the right title for a post, I go on Amazon, or GoodReads and do a book title search. When putting together Lancaster County by NMS, I was on the hunt for several titles for different posts. Just as I discovered with my 'Alien' post a couple of weeks ago, I discovered cowboy romance novels, gay cowboys in particular, were incredibly popular.

My love of the male form in images isn't restricted to only photographs, I love great art, regardless of the medium.  I have always loved book covers, I went through most of my early school years without the internet, but a great book cover could stimulate and trigger my imagination for hours.  I remember sitting down to read many of my assigned English novels, only to get lost in the cover before reading even a single word.

Since beginning FH, every few months or so, I feature a cowboy.  Well.. not always actual cowboys,  maybe just a hot model shot in a barn in assless chaps.  The western theme, and especially the cowboy, has been one of the many recurring symbols of masculinity that artists are inspired by.

Cowboys have all the classic themes needed for a lusty fantasy.  Hard work, long days sweating under the hot sun.  Even longer nights  in a cold bunk house, surrounded by only other horny ranch hands.  Loneliness, isolation, not to mention all that denim and leather combine for one hell of a ride.
