Above: Congratulations to Chad Taylor who won the Wild Card pic of Model Search 2012. Chad now automatically moves on to become one of the final round of voting. Hoping to announce the remaining finalists tomorrow!
Granted I had a slight red wine buzz on after getting home from a Christmas party, but I pretty much laughed my way through the entire SNL last night. I love when old cast members show up for surprise appearances. Over at Nerve.com they have rated 92 featured performers from worst to best. Now I would have done it a little differently (most notably Nora Dunn would have been higher) but generally I agree with most of the list. If your a fan of SNL, it's a fun list to peruse.
For the second year, Michael from Preferred Studio is holding a Sexy Santa Contest on his Model Mayhem page. If your a member, you can vote for your favorite.
I wanted to feature Michael's work for some and recently connected with him about a post. I love how Michael is able to create such erotic and beautiful images without a great deal of nudity. Michael uses fashion, location and a focus on facial expression to create a mood. The smiles and eyes he captures are certainly a highlight of each of his shots.
I may be a little bias but Kevin certainly is one of my favorite Santa's and favorite of Michael's models. Although Michael lives and works primarily in San Diego, he and Kevin shot late last year in Montreal. Currently working in Thailand, Kevin has a beautifully distinctive face and great physique captured flawlessly by Michael's lens.
One of the places I visit each week has a great thread 'discussing' various stage productions from around the world. In the 9 or so pages shots of Polish actor Jakub Snochowski had me the most intrigued. Originally from Sweden, Jakub is a film and television actor who graduated from the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Krakow.
Below: Jakub in the Warsaw stage production of Niepokoje wychowanka Torlessa (The Confusions of Young Törless). Törless is based on the famous German novel Die Verwirrungen des Zöglings Törleß by Robert Musil.
