EMMYS: Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series

Danson in Gulliver's Travels (1996)

Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series

Anthony Anderson as Andre "Dre" Johnson, Sr. on Black-ish
Don Cheadle as Mo Monroe on Black Monday
Ted Danson as Michael on The Good Place
Michael Douglas as Sandy Kominsky on The Kominsky Method
Bill Hader as Barry Berkman / Barry Block on Barry
Eugene Levy as Johnny Rose on Schitt's Creek

Danson in The Moguls (2007)

I love Ted's work, but for some reason have never been a huge fan of Ted himself.  I didn't think he had done any on screen nudity but when I found out that he did... had to include it.

Eugene Levy

Without a doubt, my vote in this category would go to Eugene Levy. I love Schitt's Creek, and Levy (check out his high school pic above) looks more dashing these days than ever. When I checked out his butt flashing chaps scene in 1086 comedy Armed & Dangerous, it was amazing how much he looked, and moved, like his son Dan.

Kit Harington

I keep intending to start Ozark, but have to begin.  I haven't seen This Is Us since season one. I love me some Kit, but not sure about best actor for this season.  My vote would go to Billy Porter for his incredible turn on Pose.

Alfie Allen on stage in Equus

I love all the Game of Thrones nominee's, but if I were voting, Alfie Allen would get my vote.  Theon was put through hell on theshow, and Allen was always painfully heartbreaking in the role.  Yes Allen had a frontal in GOT, but I was first introduced to the talented actor when seeing images of his role on stage in Equus.  See my original post from 2009 HERE:
