Tony Lo Bianco in The Honeymoon Killers

Martha Beck (Shirley Stoler), an obese nurse who is desperately lonely, joins a "correspondence club" and finds a romantic pen pal in Ray Fernandez (Tony Lo Bianco). Martha falls hard for Ray, and is intent on sticking with him even when she discovers he's a con man who seduces lonely single women, kills them and then takes their money. She poses as Ray's sister and joins Ray on a wild killing spree, fueled by her lingering concern that Ray will leave her for one of his marks.

Double Exposure: Matthew & Harrison by takeapic4u

Harrison

'These guys could barely be more different, but complimented each other in an amazing way! A perfect match I think.'

Most FH readers know how much I love to explore story, both within the imagery, and behind the scenes of a shoot. I think photographer Dave Larson knew this as well, which is why I jumped at featuring the results of his latest creative collaboration. I think many lovers of imagery of the male form think, or maybe hope and fantasize, that naked photo shoots are more erotic than they actually are. In the case of Dave's recent Earth Day shoot, the theme was beautifully embraced.

Although the concept for the dually naked photo shoot was Dave's, the inspiration for bringing models Harrison and Matthew together was motivated initially by Matthew. Many of you remember Matthew from his previous appearances on FH including his work with Dave in last Autumn's Husk & Stalk. Harrison's work with Dave was previously featured last summer dripped in nothing but mud. (The Mud Motif).

I a not sure that I would have necessarily have thought they would have visually worked together, but Matthew's intuition was spot on and I agree with Dave on how well they visually compliment one another. This series sort of feels like the first half of a story, maybe this creative trio might get together again to add another chapter or two... Until then, I'll let them fill in the details of how everything all came together!

'Had been having some photo downtime over winter for various reasons, and Matt called to ask me to do a shoot and he had someone to shoot with. I have always wanted to do a duo shoot and when he said it was Harrison that was going to shoot with him, I was blown away.'

'The shoot, thankfully, came about because of Harrison's willingness to join Dave and I in a nude dual shoot. Dave and I have been searching for a second model to shoot with for a very long time now...like 3+ years. There are a lot of dudes that are comfortable getting naked on camera, but asking them to pose with another nude dude seems to be way too much for most. Thankfully Harrison is not that kind of guy, and was open to the concept. I emailed him about a week before we shot. I just wanted to compliment him on the great photos he has done with Dave and maybe pick his brain for ideas on future work for myself.'

'Never having worked nude with someone else I wanted the experience. Matt had reached out to me because he saw my pictures with David from last year and loved them. We decided why not shoot together for a year anniversary of my first shoot with David.'

'I was looking forward to getting in front of the camera again, but needed a new idea since I don't just want to keep creating the same thing every time I shoot. Anyway, Harrison responded back right away, and said that he would be willing to shoot with me and Dave. I ran this idea past Dave, and it only took me 5 days to organize the shoot. When I say organize, I only made sure that both Dave and Harrison knew the plans of where and when to meet.'

'They are both very comfortable in front of the camera, are “on” all the time, and look great. Together their sum was even better than the individual parts… well, so to speak. It was refreshing to do the shoot with them together and with at least a bit of interaction. I like the play on the 'Nude photo shoot'. I have seen versions of this, but not quite like what these guys did. I think they did a great job and so natural.'

'Dave came up with the interesting idea of a nude "photographer" taking pictures of a clothed (at least at first) model. As you can see as the pictures progressed, the model got more and more nude, til eventually both the photographer and model were nude. Of course when it came time for me to model, I did it in the nude because I just feel awkward modeling in clothes. I am perfectly fine getting naked, and staying that way for a photo shoot. Then it came time for Harrison and I to pose together.'

'It was lots of fun, and we ended up getting some beautiful shots.'
Harrison

'Hopefully this, and my other photo shoots will inspire others to get out there, get naked and get in front of the camera for themselves, or for viewers, make sure to hit me up if you are near or in Iowa. I am open to shooting most ideas and always have a great time on shoots. I am looking forward to more collaboration and more creativity…let it flow!'

Matthew

'This a perfectly natural experience, and neither Harrison nor I felt it was weird to get close to each other or even touch each other when the photo called for it. We continued throughout the afternoon alternating taking nude photos together and separately. However, we both stayed nude for the rest of the photo shoot, even when we shot individually. Looking back on it, both Harrison and I thought it was very cool and natural that we both hung out in the nude for the entire afternoon, which is what I hope more people in society would feel when they get naked. I really enjoyed my experience in the dual photo shoot, look forward to future work with other models, and encourage other guys to seriously think about modeling nude with another guy at least once. It is a freeing and very collaborative experience.'
