Favorite Face of the Day: B.J. Novak

Ok, I've never watched The Office.  Despite my love of comedy, and my routine of falling asleep to sit-coms, I have yet to watch even one episode.   I know I'm not the only one, there's something about the show that has me avoiding it, even after reading many rave reviews.

I've felt this way about other shows, Parks and Recreation was one.  I eventually got over that one, and ended up enjoying the show, well, most of it... The first season was hit and miss and the show certainly didn't need Rob Lowe, but I digress...

Recently, I've been thinking it's time to give The Office a try, and got more than a subtle hint last month.  Actor BJ Novak was doing the talk show circuit, promoting his new film Vengeance. Novak not only starred in the film, but wrote and directed it as well.  I found myself incredibly drawn to Novak's distinctively, handsome and sexy face.  I had no idea he was on the sit-com until doing a quick Goggle search.  It may be time for a little office visit!

Last year, I finally discovered the joy and chaos that is Bravo's Below Deck.  Having never watched before, I began binging seasons of the original show, and the spin-off Below Deck Mediterranean, and featured many of my favorite stews and deckhands on the site. (HERE:)  Recently, I finished Below Deck Sailing Yacht, and Below Deck Down Under.  I enjoyed both, it took a little longer to get through Sailing Yacht.

I'm finally making my way through this season of Below Deck Mediterranean, but am not enjoying it as much as previous seasons of the show.  I'm not a fan of Captain Sandy, but thankfully, Malia didn't return with her.  I did used to enjoy them both, but soured on them after Hannah's departure.

The season did pick up a little in the last episode I watch when Frank Fay and friends boarded the Home for a two day cruise.  Although I've featured many of the crew members, I think Frank is the first guest I've wanted to uncover a little more about...

Frank is certainly a hottie, with his great body and face and his amazing smile.  It's no wonder Kyle was immediately smitten.  Unfortunately, the relationship seemed  over staged.  I flirt or boatmance is one thing, but some of the overly dramatic scenes, (like Kyle running back for a kiss) seemed more set-up to make good TV, rather an actual relationship.  Regardless, Frank made for satisfying eye candy on the few episodes he appeared on.

End of the Seasonal Sightings:

We had joy, we had fun
We had seasons in the sun
But the wine and the song
Like the seasons have all gone

As I've noted before, one of the many folders on my desktop is for 'seasonal sightings.'  In it, there are four sub-folders for season.  I love images that celebrate or utilize specific seasons within the shot and when I see a shot that I love, save it in the appropriate folder.

I used to save all of those images, but the number of images became so large, there was no way that I'd every be able to use them all.  The last few years, I've posted the ones I didn't use at the end of the season.  These are some of my favorite summer shots collected over the last year.
