Kudos to Becki Newton

In a cast full of top notch actors, Ugly Betty's Becki Newton was always a stand out. Is it no wonder then that Becki was bombarded with offers for shows for next season. Becki choice was NBC's 'Love Bites,' a dramedy that revolves around "modern stories of love, sex, marriage and dating." Newton -- who reportedly received 11 different pilot offers -- will play Annie, a social worker who just so happens to be a virgin. Lets hope she can bring a little of 'Amanda' to her new role. Kudos Becki!

Coming Around...

Ok, I have been saying how much I dislike Ice Dancing and cannot say I have totally come around. But...there were very few other events which grabbed me last night. I did up watching a bit. I must say Ice dancing was better than I remember with some great lifts and moves. I still say it should not be an Olympic sport but cuties Charlie White and Scott Moir did make an hour of watching quite enjoyable.

Charlie White and partner Meryl Davis won silver for the United States.

Canadians Scott Moir and Tessa Virtue took the gold!
