O Brother, Where Art Thou?

There was a time in the 90's, for those of you, who like me, often bought Teen People and other magazines targeted towards teenage girls, that the O'Connell brothers were marketed as a pair.  Shirtless shots of the acting siblings were in all the magazines, at least... for a short period of time,

Unfortunately, although really hot, and equally talented, Charlie O'Connell's  career never took off in the same way as his brother's career did.  Not sure why, Charlie had a slew of projects in the 1990's, including appearances in films including; Cruel Intentions and Dude, Where's My Car, and appearances on television, including a recurring role on his brother's show Sliders

By the 2000's however, Charlie's television appearances were slowing down, and in 2005, he took on the role of The Bachelor, in the seventh season of the ABC reality show.  Although Charlie didn't find love on the show, he did ok, marrying Playboy Playmate Anna Sophia Berglund in 2018.

Jerry O'Connell: Speedo Season

If you follow Jerry O'Connell at all, or sites focused on the male form, you know he loves his speedos.  In addition to enjoying wearing them on the beach, O'Connell mocked his speedo loving in a 2009 issue of People featuring the world's sexiest men.

It's too bad O'Connell's 2013 sit-com, We Are Men didn't last a little longer.  O'Connell and his cast mates wore speedos in almost all of the shows first and only seasons 11 episodes.

Jerry O'Connell: ACTORS & Skin

Jerry O'Connell got his start in Hollywood when he was just 12 year old.  The young actor was cast as one of the four leads in 1986's Stand By Me.  The film, directed by Rob Reiner, became a huge hit, and was the project of us many of us were first introduced to O'Connell.

After a few appearances guesting on television shows, O'Connell's next big break came after being cast on the Canadian based action comedy, My Secret Identity.  O'Connell was 16 when the series began, and 19 when the last episode was filmed.

After the series was cancelled, O'Connell joined another series, this time, the sort lived Camp Wilder in the early 90's.  O'Connell returned to mostly making films after the series with turns roles in;  Calendar Girls, Jerry Maguire and of course Scream 2

O'Connell then returned to television for four seasons in the fantasy series Sliders.  Now in his early 20's, O'Connell was frequently shirtless in Sliders, often times, tied up and in trouble.   It was after the series ended, that O'Connell starred in a series of comedies which featured most of his on-screen skinning.

Sliders

It was during the late 90's and early 2000's that O'Connell starred in the movies; Body Shots, Tomcats and Buying the Cow.  O'Connell continued to work steadily through the 2000's, and got his next series role on Crossing Jordan from 2002-2007.  Although he continued work regularly, mostly on television, by 2010, O'Connell seemed to then become more famous for his roles as a host and television personality than for his acting roles.

O'Connell did have several memorable butt scenes on films, which you can check out in the SKIN portion of Actors & SKIN in the post below.

Thanks to ausCAPS for the Sliders caps.

Jerry O'Connell: Actors & SKIN

Although Jerry O'Connell began acting professionally, he was just 12 years old he got his big break in 1986's Stand By Me.  Even when turned 19, although he many shirtless scenes, those pesky pants mostly remained on.  Even during the beach scene in 1993's Calendar Girl, Jerry is the only one who keeps his towel on at the nude beach.  Thankfully Jason Priestley and Gabriel Olds, took their towels off. Deep Murder (2019)

O'Connell's first flash of butt, was in 1999 when he was 25 in the drama Body Shots.   O'Connell went on to bare his butt in Tomcats and Deep Murder.  O'Connell also had a butt scene in 2020's Ballbuster, but told the producers on set that he didn't want to get naked on film again, so a body double was used.
