The Brothers Brubaker

Although I didn't plan it, today's posts all sort of took on a theme. Given this weekend marks the ending, the calendar's ending at least, of winter, seemed like a good time to celebrate Winter, and especially winter sports. When I was thinking of just the right sports figure to include in today's posts, there were two that came to mind.

The two happened to be brothers, Rockne Brubaker, a 29 year-old pairs skater, and his 27 year old younger brother Collin who ice sport of choice is ice dancing. In addition to being equally adorable and equally hot, Rockne and Collin have some the best hair ever to fly down the ice.

I had saved a couple of images of each brother a couple of years ago, and with a little effort, found them in a folder on my old laptop. Collin has won several sectional championships in ice dancing, including the 2014 Pacific Coast Sectional Figure Skating Championships. Collin also finished eighth at the 2014 national championships in ice dancing.

In 2007, Rockne Brubaker was the junior U.S. Champion and the junior World Champion in pairs skating. He followed that up in 2008 and 2009 with wins at the U.S. Championships. He placed ninth at the 2014 U.S. Championships.
