Answer: What Is His Great Smile

Question
What launched your crush on Drew?

Although I watched Jeopardy off and on when I was a kid, I pretty much stopped watching until a few years ago.  It was Amy Schneider that drew me back, after reading, and seeing stories about her winning streak.  Since then, I've developed a bit of a Jeopardy routine.  I don't really  have time to watch much during the week, but I record it, and watch when I workout on the weekends.

Last week, it was all about the second chance tournament, and contestant Drew Goins.  I see from social media, and other websites, that I'm not the only one taken by the writer, his floopy blond hair and his great smile.  What's not to love, add to his sexy look that he's smart and a writer and you had me at hello.

Drew grabbed and held my interest, so much so , that I didn't fast forward through the 'after first commercial' contestant comments which is something that  I usually do.  Thankfully Drew did well, so we'll be seeing more of him when the last part of the tournament begins.

Fresh, Not Spoiled

I forgot each year how much I love The Traitors.  Usually in late Autumn, when the mostly ex-reality player roster is listed, I roll my eyes with the choices.  Then when I watch, even reality stars I disliked, or ones I haven't heard of, rise to the game play, and I get pulled into the round table all over again.

There wasn't really anyone playing this year on the US version I cared to see.  Again however, even reality stars who annoy the shit of me, (Robyn, RHOP) are making good TV.  I have a few favorites, but the one at the top of the list is without a doubt Dylan Efron.

I certainly seen images of Zac's younger brother before, but I didn't appreciate his beauty, and his personality, until seeing him on The Traitors.  Dylan is a fresh face amongst the nest of reality show vipers, and although new to knifing others in the back, he is no fool.  A stuntman and accomplished athlete, Dylan has traveled the globe, and hopefully will soon sideline his sweetness and play to win.  Dylan's already got the number of Bob the drag queen, and knows he has to play it smart so he's not targeted next.  Let's hope he stays awhile.

One of the most annoying things about The Traitors is the spoilers.  I know spoilers can't be avoided, and are a fact in today's online and television watching culture.. Usually, I accept, and just roll with it.  I love posting and reading comments during award shows and live sporting events.  With streaming shows however , there really should be more respect.  Unlike a show like Survivor, that airs at specific time every week, The Traitors first three episodes were released at midnight last Friday.

Last Friday, I didn't even remember The Traitors was dropping, and popped on to Twitter to check on the fires in California.  It was barely after midnight, and several people I follow were already posing specific spoilers for the show in posting detailed tweets about who was a traitor, who was brought back in the twist and who was killed.  I love their enthusiasm, but wondered if they knew how aggressively disrespectful they were being.

Could they not have just posted 'great episode' or 'loved the twist', why write the specifics when they had to have know most viewers had not yet turned in.  It wasn't like a show on network that airs the same day and time every week.  One day I'll write about the rise of reality television and it's connection to our current political climate and the decrease in respect and caring for others.

The ties are tight, and there are many, but let's get back to the subject at hand, the hottness and sweetness of Dylan Efron.  The producers of The Traitors obviously understand his appeal as well.  Hence the shirtless shots we got in episode 3!   Let us hope for more.

A Hedonistic Hibernation: Dex by Studio1x

'Winter is a time of cold and quiet beauty. It is a time of hibernation – dormancy – and rest. It is a time to connect with our inner selves.'

Where I live, winter has set in.  I know it officially started last month, and we had our first white Christmas in a few years.  But... the long stretches of freezing temperatures, snowy days, and darkness that starts before 5pm are here.  This means, it's time for a little human hibernation.

Unlike animals, who prepare for, and then hibernate for months, we humans have our mini-hibernation vacations.  Evening where we snuggle up under a blanket, stormy weekends when we stay in for two or three days, and partake in our favorite activities.  I don't tend to do multi-day hibernations, but there are times, when I have my own brand of decadent dormancy.

My mini-hibernations usually start with a cold and stormy day.  Whether I've been home all day, our out, these times usually involve my bed.  Since I'm a bit of a night own, I usually don't get into bed most nights until about 1a.m.  On my hibernating days however, I prepare for, then head to the boudoir about 7 or 8pm.  I have snack, my laptop or phone, a good book or television show to binge.

I received the John Grisham Camino Island trilogy for Christmas, and devoured them over two evenings of hibernation in the first week of January.  For my next one, yet to be planned, I need to start season three of Bridgerton.  I enjoyed the first two seasons, but for some reason never got around to the third.  Since my Wicked crush on Jonathan Bailey still has a grip on me, it's a perfect time to dive back in.

Someone who's certainly enjoying his hedonistic hibernation is Dex, in this series from Jim from Studio1x.  Many of you remember my previous posts spotlighting Jim's work with Dex that I've shared over the last few years.  Jim sent on images from several of his shots with Dex, and when I recently headed back into the Dropbox folder, I knew this one was perfect for this torpor time of year.

In the previous pieces,  Jim usually focused his lens at the studly Dex, standing or posing. (HERE:) In some, he donned some fashion, only of course to the strip off.  In others, he was holding sunflowers or roses, maybe as visual foreplay, a hint of what was to come.  This however to me, is the most intimately sensual depictions of Dex that Jim has captured,

Once Dex is nice and comfy, snuggled in his bed, it's time to take hibernation to the next level.  We all know, it's meant for more than just sleeping, there's a purpose involved.  They say that  hibernation is a covert preparation for a more overt action.  A quiet journey to a more robust destination.  Check out more of Dex's journey to a happier ending on the NEXT PAGE HERE:
