The Bottom Line:

Pooch-tacular!

When it comes to Hallmark movies, I have a few rules.  Although she's no longer on the channel, I avoid most movies involving royalty, and any Hallmark rerun featuring Candice Cameron Bure.  I don't dislike Christians, I am one, but try to avoid judgemental hypocrites.   Bure reportedly left Hallmark because it was getting too inclusive, something the polar opposite of everything I learned and believe.

I also for some reason avoid most movies set in Nashville, or with a country music theme.  I love country music, but just seem to find most of the struggling  'country singer' stories a little weak and formulaic, even for Hallmark.  That being said, I decided to DVR 2023's A Nashville Legacy when it recently aired, mostly because it starred actor Pooch Hall

I first started crushing over Pooch after seeing him on the sit-com Accentually on Purpose.   Back in the site's early days, I posted about the show often, and tried to my best to save it from cancellation.  I am also big fan of writer and producer Claudia Lonow, who read some of my posts.  Claudia even arranged a photo session with the cast, including Pooch, to wish FH readers a Merry Christmas. (HERE:)

Pooch has continued to work steadily since his time on the sit-com, most notably with regular roles on The Game and Ray Donovan.    I really like him, and the film, A Nashville Legacy, as it was your typical Hallmark romance,  The movie involved a singing group who although were responsible for many hits, were pressured out of the business, with the credit going to others.  There was a bit of a mystery, as well some history, along with the usual Hallmark romantic tropes.

Seeing Pooch again had me wanting to revisit some his sexiest shirtless scenes from The Game and Accidently on Purpose.

John Davidson: Eight Short Months in Pictures

'Only the Good Die Young'

John Davidson's modeling career was a short one, starting just after his 19th birthday in 1964.  Davidson grew up in Bronxville New York, a wealthy suburb of New York City, about 15 miles from Champion Studios in Manhattan.  During his short eight month career, Davidson posed and for Champion, AGM and Bob Mizer and  photographer Pat Milo.

Although he shot with Champion in New York, it was a trip to California for the Marines in January 1965 which led to Davidson's meeting with Mizer and AGM.  All of the images you see here were shot when Davidson was 19, between December 1964 and July 1965.  Sadly, Davidson didn't live to see his 20th birthday.

Davidson, aka Private First Class Gordon James Deitz Jr. USMC, served with K Company, 3rd Battalion, Third Marine Amphibious Force. Davidson sadly died on the way to Vietnam of Japanese Encephalitis onboard USS Iowa Jima on Independence Day, July 4th, 1965.  If you search 'Gordon James Deitz Jr' you can see some of the 19 year old's military tributes and obituaries.

Kitchen Party: Joe by Random Exposures

'Ain't no party like a kitchen party.'

If you're over the age of 30, you've probably been to a kitchen party.  They don't always start out in the kitchen, but some of the best parties end up there. Kitchen parties are said to have originated in Atlantic Canada, and involved cooking, good food, music and storytelling.  There's no better place to sit, pull out a musical instrument, drink, maybe get high, and enjoy the company of your closest friends.

For this particular kitchen party with Joe, the guest list was small, just Joe and George from Random Exposures.   When going through the shots of Joe that George sent on, I think some of my favorites were those taken in the kitchen.  First off, George's kitchen is immaculately clean.  I'm not sure if George cleaned before Joe arrived, or whether he is has a wee bit of a compulsive streak when it comes to cleaning.

I've seen many images that George has taken in other rooms of his house, and they're always well organized.  Even in Georges' living room, surrounded shelves by books knick-knacks, everything had a place, and beautifully arranged.

I also love that George took a series of shots of Joe changing from his white boxer briefs into a blue pair.  I written before how much I love shots of models dressing and undressing.  I feature them whenever I have the opportunity and love the intimate nature of the reveal and conceal.

'Joe was great to work with.  He had a nice trim physique which resulted in some beautiful clothed shots on the boardwalk, and some beautiful nudes as well.  The only disappointment, if there was one, was that although he tried his best, he wasn't able to get fully erect.  Joe kept saying that in his mind, he was up for anything, but his body didn't seem to concur. '
George

As great as Joe looks in his briefs, when it comes to a kitchen party, at least one at George's house, the dress code is of course predominantly naked.  This made for some incredibly hot shots of whatever Joe was checking on in the oven...
