First Formed
Over the years of working on FH, I often look back. One of the site's goals is to spotlight not just contemporary artists and models, but images, photographers and pioneers from the past. I've dug deep into the past before, but today's theme, goes back to the very beginning. Regardless of your faith, the Bible is one of the oldest books in the world, making Adam, one of the very first documented examples of the nude male form.
Today, over the next three pages, we look at the Genesis of the nude male form in life, society and media with posts spotlighting all things Adam. Thanks to Tom from TR Pics, for sharing these shots of Edgar to set the stage, and get things started.
Forbidden Fruit
The apple was never actually mentioned in the bible, instead it was referred to simply as the forbidden fruit. It was through art, through books poems, and especially in paintings that had the apple become the symbol of the forbidden fruit and of temptation.
When I was thinking of images to represent the apple, and temptation, I thought back to this series with Victor by photographer Mark Leighton. Victor is not only one of my favorite models that Mark has worked with, he's also one of the first that I featured on the site. I believe Victor first appeared on FH back in 2012. (HERE:)
If you're tempted to see more of Mark's work with Victor, you can see even hotter images on Mark's Patreon site HERE: If you're tempted to see more of Mark's work, and more from the Garden and Eden, head on over to the NEXT PAGE HERE:
