Tom Francis: Curtain Call

Their dreams were yours, their dreams were mine
But in those dreams were hidden dragons

Some FH readers may remember I love doing character studies, especially for characters from plays and musicals.  Back in 2020, I took a look at the character of Joe Gillis from Sunset Boulevard.  I took a deep dive into many of the actors who played Joe on stage and on film. (HERE:)

The current Broadway production is currently in previews and is scheduled to open on October 20th.  I remember reading rave reviews of the London production, and especially leading lady Nicole Scherzinger.  I admit to being a bit surprised, and not just because Scherzinger seemed too young for the role of the again Norma Desmond.

Also getting rave reviews is actor Tom Francis who played Joe in London winning the Olivier Award for his turn as Joe.  Francis started his career studying at London’s ArtsEd and went on to starring roles in West End hits and and now making his Broadway debut .  As you can see, Tom also looks fine in his boxer briefs, here during one of the preview's bloody curtain calls,

Horror Hunks: Daniel Greene in Elvira: Mistress of the Dark

'Upon arriving in a small town where Elvira has inherited a rundown mansion, the famous horror host must battle an evil uncle, and townspeople who want her burned at the stake.'

With the calendar now officially turned to October, it's the beginning of the spooky season, one of my favorite times of the year.  The spooky seasons means a return to Horror Hunks, featuring some of the hottest hunks from scary, and sometimes humorous, horror flicks.

I was never a huge fan of Elvira, but as a kid growing up in the 80's, I did see 1988's Elvira: Mistress of the Dark on VHS.  I barely remember much about the movie, and even forgot that I'd seen it until earlier today.  Someone posted the shot at the top of this post, of actor Daniel Greene, who played Bob Redding, the theatre owner, and love interest to Elvira in the film.

I had a sudden flash back to that beautiful face, and that incredible butt, visually stunning even in the tight pants he wore in the film.  I didn't really know much about Greene, except that he was on Falcon Crest for awhile, but thought it was time to find out a bit more.  Greene was well known as both an actor and a fitness model in the 1980's, and even appeared, (photo below) in the 1983 Chippendales celebrity calendar.

Greene's chiseled face and muscled physique led to a series of roles in action films and television shows in the late 80's and 1990's.  Greene continued to work steadily and had small roles in several well known feature films including; Kingpin, Me, Myself and Irene, Hall Pass, Fever Pitch and Green Book.  His last official credit was playing a priest in the 2021 mini-series, The Now.

As hot as Greene's derriere looks in pants, I was hoping I might find a scene with him without them.  It took awhile, but I finally hit pay dirt with his small role in the 1985 comedy 'Stiches'.  Check out caps and a clip below.

Stiches (1985)

'Mr. Fletcher's condition gives us the opportunity to practice a genital urinary examination, and see what a real hernia feels like.  Ok Mr. Fletcher, would you mind standing up and lowering your pajamas.'

I had never hear of this comedy until researching Daniel and any possible scenes of skin.  The film also features actor Parker Stevenson,  In Green's brief scene, he plays a patient who draws the attention, and the lust, of many of the female doctors and nurses.  So much so, they seem to look for any opportunity to get him naked for extra exams....  He doesn't seem to mind.  Clip is available to download on SendSpace HERE:

Binding Agreement: Connor by Shibari Garraf

' I don't always model nude; each photoshoot is heavily dependent on what the photographer wants and envisions. If the project requires nudity, then I have no problem stripping my clothes away. This shoot with Shibari obviously required it, and I loved the incredible contrast of having my body completely bonded, yet feeling totally vulnerable and free.'

If you're a fan of following the male form on-line, chances are... you've already met Connor.  In addition to enjoying his Instagram posts, Connor's work has been featured on Pornceptual as well as several features on EroticcoMag.  As you can clearly see, not only is Connor incredibly hot, his presence in front of the lens is both captivating and dramatic, expressed through both his eyes and gaze, and his striking poses.

As you may also have picked up, Connor also loves to  push boundaries with his art.  In part, this stemmed form his upbringing.  Both of Connor's parents were artists, and was taught early, that there is was nothing taboo about nudity, especially in art.  Connor briefly followed in his parents footsteps, studying photography in college, and nude modeling, was just part of the learning and creative process.

Pushing boundaries is part of every passionate artist and model, and for Connor, some of that also has to do with being a person of color.  Although Connor grew up being inspired by hot naked models in magazines, he never saw many models who looked like him, and subsequently, never felt attractive enough to be in front of the camera.  This was until, he came across an issue of Playgirl featuring Korean American model Peter Le.

'I was amazed by him and shocked to see an Asian man being featured in a normally white porno magazine. He looked so comfortable and confident with his body; it was both erotic and artistic. It was then that my desire to be like him grew.'

How did you connect with Shibari Garraf
I have admired their work for a long time, but after I moved to Spain, I noticed that they announced that they would be taking some time off from collaboration. However, I continued to watch out for their announcement of returning. So last year, when I heard that they were open for the tying business again, I had to write to them.

Given the bondage themes he captures, was that a theme you wanted to explore?
Yes, I have always had a fascination with Shibari. I found it to be both erotic and highly artistic. Each knot is an art piece of its own; combining it with the human body is simply a chef's kiss.

Tell me about the shoot, how was the experience of being bound in rope?
I had a great time. Both Mark and Bart were super nice. They picked me up from the Sitges train station and drove me to their beautiful home. They explained the three poses they had prepared ahead of time and how the rope worked. They emphasized asking me to speak up if, at any moment, I didn't feel comfortable or in any pain.

They were very professional and worked very hard to tie those ropes around my body and lift me up. Overall, they had a much tougher job than me. All I had to do was to improvise expressions along with the poses.

When it comes to erections, are they planned or discussed, or just occur 'in the moment'?
It all depends on the photographer. Whenever I agreed to a shoot, I would study the photographer's overall work to understand his style. And to see what type of nudity is showcased in his works. Suppose a photographer has only done artistic nudity, and he didn't specify on wanting me to have an erection. In that case, I will keep my little soldier asleep throughout the shoot. But if erotic nudity has already been part of his style, like with this shoot, then I will allow myself to go to that special place mentally to wake my soldier up.
