Hallmark Hunks: The GOATS!
The slang term G.O.A.T. is an acronym for "greatest of all time". It's usually used to describe someone for their success and longevity in a particular field. When it comes to Hallmark Hunks, Andrew W. Walker and Corey Sevier are definitely holiday Goats! Given so many Hallmark movies are filmed in Canada, it makes sense that two of the Network's most loves stars hail from the Great White North.
I've been watching and enjoying Andrew W. Walker in Hallmark movies for years. Possibly the network's most loved actor, Walker has appeared in close to 30 films in his ten plus years with the network. I'm not sure how much power he has with his choices of roles, but Walker always seems to appear in some of the network's best movies each holiday season.
The most recent holiday film with Walker that I watched was Christmas Island. (below) I really liked this movie, and Walker was great as an air traffic controller, whose also afraid of flying. The movie is set in Christmas Island in Nova Scotia, (an actual place) and Walker had me wanting to head there to spend a long winter snuggled up enjoying his company...
ANDREW W WALKER'S NUDE SCENES ON FH
I've been covering actor Corey Sevier since the fist days of the site. It wasn't because I was really familiar with his work, but more about the hot shirtless shots I saw in magazines promoting the short lived series North Shore.
It wasn't until I started watching the Canadian cutie on Hallmark that I really became a fan. Yes, Corey has incredible abs, but he's also a skilled actor, and always brings it no matter what role he's playing. Corey's been working with Hallmark since about 2012 and has done dozens of of movies, as well as appearing in some of their television series.
Hallmark Hunks: The Newcomer
Regular FH Viewers noticed I did a few features on Hallmark' reality show, Finding Mr. Christmas. I stopped posting, and pretty much stopped watching, prior to the winner being announced. I just didn't find it that compelling. Despite having a herd of hot men vying for the title, the competitions, the show, ended up being rather bland and boring.
Even before finding out who the winner was, I sort of guessed. Model Ezra Moreland was incredibly hot, and seemed popular with the show's creators. My guess was confirmed when I saw a Favorites post I did on Ezra from 2022, (HERE:) began to get massive hits after the finale aired.
Ezra was a good choice, incredibly hot, engaging and seemed like a sweet guy. The show was obviously filmed months ago, most likely in the spring or early summer. It had to have been in order for the winner's first Hallmark movie to air so quickly after the finale of reality show aired. I recorded Ezra's Hallmark in Happy Howlidays, and watched it this past weekend.
His hotness, and his sweetness were in full view, wise move to include a shirtless scene. His acting was weak, but given it was his first professional acting role, there's time for him to grow, and take a few classes before his next one. Beyond his good looks, he's pleasing to watch, and I've certainly seen worse acting on the network. Look forward to seeing him again next Christmas!
Hallmark Hunks: The Studs
Of course the actors featured here are more than just 'Studs'. They're all talented actors, whose engaging screen presence, always has me wanting to check out their holiday films. They're presence in the credits is enough to hold my interest, and I look for their films ever year, even when the script and story may be a little weak.
Although actor Ryan Paevey has plenty of credits in addition to his Hallmark movies, I really only know him from his holiday films. I'd never seen him on General Hospital, or anywhere else, but ever since discovering him on Hallmark, I've been a fan. Paevey started with Hallmark in 2016, and has done about 15 films before taking a break in 2023. I think my favorite was Christmas at the Plaza.
More of Ryan Paevey on FH
I think I first saw studly Marcus Rosner on Hallmark in 2017's Christmas in Evergreen. I've been in lust since. This past year, I enjoyed and posted about his turn in Falling Like Snowflakes. Although Rosner has been shirtless in many films, including the holiday flick, A Christmas Hero, that wasn't a Hallmark film. I don't think Hallmark has het to celebrate the Rosner chest, yet....
I think I first saw actor Christopher Russell in 2018's Forever Christmas, (aka Mr.365) I was pleasantly surprised with the hot shirtless scene. I'm sure I'd others, but this was the first time I really remembered a Hallmark hunk taking off their shirts in one of the movies. Russell has done over 20 Hallmark films since 2013, my favorite I believe being the non-Christmas rom com, Yellowstone Romance.
Many of the actors Hallmark hires for their holiday films are former models. Not all, have the acting acting of Travis Van Winkle. Not only has Winkle gotten hotter over the years, he also always delivers and has been working in more and more non-Hallmark movies the last few years. My most recent sighting of Van Winkle in a Hallmark film was a recent watch of 2021's Tis The Season to be Merry. Given Hallmark runs holiday films 24/7 in December, I caught a few from previous years.
Hallmark Hunks: The Buds
So what's the difference between a Hallmark Stud and a Hallmark Bud, not much really. Both are the romantic leads, and both are played by incredibly hot actors. Buds tend to be more 'character parts', with a bit more depth than the usual Hallmark hunk. They also tend to be guys, and play characters, that if you can't have romantically, you'd also love to be friends with.
Tyler Hynes has been making Hallmark movies for years, but for some reasons, he only peaked my radar this last holiday season. I'd seen him before, but saw him in two films in December that had me take notice. The magic of a Hallmark bud, and a Hallmark stud, is they have you watching even when them movie is lame. Holiday Touchdown wasn't a great flick, but thanks to Hynes, I made it to the happy ending.
I first discovered hottie Antonio Cupo as a model, and in non-Hallmark films, but recently discovered he's made quite a few Hallmark movies. I'm not sure I've seen any of his Christmas movies, but I have seen his Thanksgiving Hallmark film.
I'd never heard for actor Michael Xavier until seeing him 2020's Christmas on Wheels. I was instantly smitten, and have found several of his previous holiday films. If you haven't seen him on Hallmark, some fans of the male form may have caught Xavier during his run on Bitten.
HutchI first noticed, and the posted about, actor Jesse Hutch after catching his turn as Peter on the ABC drama Once Upon A Time. I was instantly smitten. The Canadian hottie has been several Hallmark films, but the first time I saw him it was in a holiday flick produced by another company. In 2017's Snowmance, we get a great shirtless shot spotlighting Hutch's hot and hairy chest.
