Finding Mr. Christmas

I just started watching Hallmark's reality competition, Finding Mr. Christmas.  Much like most Hallmark Christmas movies, it's a little corny and silly, low budget and cringe worthy.  Like most Hallmark movies however, it's also full of heart and sucks you in whether you really want it to or not.

Only on a Hallmark show could an ugly Christmas sweater contest get you a little teary eyed.  It wasn't the sweaters, but rather the hot sweater wearers sharing their stories with host Jonathan Bennett and judge Melissa Peterman.   If you haven't watch, the post on the next page is a spoiler.  It's focused on one of my favorites, and also the first cutie to have to have to unhook his Christmas stocking and leave the house.  Check him out on the NEXT PAGE HERE:

Are You Ready???

Tis The Season....

No, not Thanksgiving and not Christmas. It's now officially Cuffing season.  You know, that time of year when singles are looking for a short-term romantic partner to spend the colder months with.  'Romantic' may be stretching it a bit.... most are looking for snuggle buddies to curl up with, have plenty of sex with, but then abruptly ditch when the first Spring crocus appears.

Cuffing season usually begins in October and can last for some, until just after Valentine's Day. However, people some people may even have started looking earlier in the hopes of maintaining a connection before the more aggressive cuffers are on the prowl.

With Christmas just over a month away, we're approaching peak Cuff Season.  Men are getting a wee anxious, and showing a bit more skin to lure ensure a quick cuffing.  Some are, 'accidentally' opening the front door pantless, hoping the Amazon delivery driver is welcoming of the gesture.

So, best of luck to all those on the hunt!  To both the cuffer and the cuffee, never give up, you never know who's waiting around the corner to hoist you over their shoulder, and take you home for some pressure filled Netflix nights and office Christmas parties.

And... to you all of you that are married, engaged or coupled up, don't get too cocky.   Hide your cuffs in a box somewhere, but don't throw them away, you never know if you'll need them one day int he future.  The most aggressive cuffers aren't usually those who haven't had a long term partner, they're usually the ones who have.  Play nice, play fare, but above all, play hard!

From the Start: Tom by Archer Imagery

'I Loved it from start, and was always great seeing the work that artists would create in such a short period of time.'

After my piece on life drawing models the other day, (HERE:) timing is perfect to introduce FH viewers to Tom!  I saw some of Tom's images on Model Mayhem and really was taken with the beauty of his classic and elegant poses.  As you can see, Tom has a fit, long and lean physique, and his poses and movement, along with the skill and lighting by photographer Nathan Archer, created a striking set of visuals.

Posing nude wasn't actually a huge stretch for the Australian based model.  Growing up in a family focused on beauty and the arts, creating is in Tom's blood, and a core part of who he is. Tom has been creating all of his life, but began his modeling journey about five years ago by posing for Life Drawing art classes around his home in Perth.  After posing for dozens of classes, Tom wanted to expand on his skill set and gain further experience, by trying other forms of modeling.

'I'm hoping to gain some further experience and activities in modelling for Photography. While I have done a reasonable amount of modelling for life drawing, I am currently less experienced in the Photography field, though always hoping to learn and improve. Keen to have a go at a wide variety of different modelling styles.'

Tom sought out photographers on-line, which led to his connecting with Nathan Archer.  Given he other career obligations, Tom's modeling is more a passionate hobby, and something he loves to do when he was the time to fit in shoots, classes and projects.  Luckily, he and Nathan's schedules lined up, and they were able to get together for  a shoot.

What made you start with art classes?
I knew of life drawing classes as family is quite involved in arts. Thought I'd give a try as have a dance background and thought I could do some fairly dynamic poses.

How nervous were before that first class?
The first class was relatively small, didn't really find it intimidating at all. I Loved it from start, and was always great seeing the work that artists would create in such a short period of time.

How did you move from posing for art classes to modeling for photographers?
I did some of the photography modelling more just to try it. The photoshoot with Nathan along the lines of one I was really keen to try. I greatly enjoyed it and am very happy with how the photos turned out.

Were you nervous at all about sharing your nudes on-line?
No, my family is aware of my modelling and I have shown them some of the images.

What has your MM experience been like, any odd or strange requests?
I've enjoyed being on Model Mayhem. Have got some paid work from it too which is a bit of a bonus. No super weird requests, though I'm pretty open so keen on trying new things.

Do you have a dream scenario for a shoot?
Not sure what my dream shoot would be. Maybe some outdoor style ones would be cool.

What is your favorite part about modeling?
My favorite part of the modelling is really seeing the end products. For the drawing in particular it can be really cool as you can end up with so many interpretations just from one pose.
