The Fitting:

The fitting is one of the most important moments before a show.

There's only thing hotter than a sexy male model on the runway, is heading backstage to see how the ingredients come together.  These shots are from a recent runway shot for Toro Fashion, also feature the models backstage, trying on their 'fashion' pieces and practicing their runway walk.

The main hottie you see being fitted and adjusted here is Mexican model AndrĂ© Pay.  Pay is modeling a sort of body suit / mankini combo in black and lime green.  Although both have a body hugging fit, I think the green does a slightly better job showing off AndrĂ©'s assets.

Oh Val!

Val

Like many film lovers, the recent death of actor Gene Hackman had me thinking back to my favorite Hackman films.  There are so many I loved, including Runaway Jury which I saw again in January.  There's also The Conversation, Hoosiers and No Way Out and a slew I have yet to see.  I also have a special affinity for The Poseidon Adventure which I first watched with my parents when I was a kid.

It aired on television several times in the 80's, and the first time I saw it, I only watched up until the wave hit.  I got scared and my parents sent me to bed.  I of course had to finish it, and it became a favorite I've now seen and enjoyed several times.  Then there's The Birdcage....

Like so many, I love The Birdcage, especially Robin Williams, Hank Azaria and Gene Hackman in drag, sneaking out of the club at the end of the movie.  Seeing Gene and the Cast dancing out to 'We Are Family is always a highlight.  I always forget that the brilliant Christine Baranksi is in the film, and how much I disliked the character of Val.

Futterman with Josh Lucas and Clive Owen, (Class of '61)

I love actor Dan Futterman who played Val, but generally remember how hot he was in the film, and how I love his face, hair and bangs.  Then i watch, and see how cruel the character was.  He really was horrible, especially to Albert, (Nathan Lane).  It's clear Albert helped raise him, and loves him very much, but Val just rolls his eyes at Albert's flamboyance, and never really shows any emotion towards him other than annoyance.

Judging Amy

I'm guessing Val actually really loves Albert as step-parent, and the movie didn't intend to make him a villain, but after recently rewatching, he showed more distain for Albert and Armand's lifestyle than even the staunch conservative Keely family, led by Hackman.  I wish the director had managed to slip in one loving moment between Val and Albert to have balanced out all the scenes of Albert annoying the shit out of him.  Maybe there was one, and I just missed it.

Will & Grace

That doesn't mean I didn't still lust over Futterman, who I enjoyed in many movies and television shows.  I'd love to catch Judging Amy streaming somewhere, and loved his turn as Barry, the Eliza Doolittle gay who transformed from geek to hottie on Will & Grace.  I also remember enjoying Futterman in the 2000 gay drama Urbania.

Urbania

I don't think Futterman has done any on-screen nudity, the closet would be his scenes in Urbania.  In addition to a hot masturbation scene, we also see the beginnings of him getting a blow job.

The Scheduling Of Snow: Isaac by Michael von Redlich

'We needed to work fast to capture the beauty that we saw while maintaining a level of warmth that allowed me to keep my limbs.'

For most of us, at least those who experience full winters, there's a schedule to snow.  Sure, mother nature loves to surprise us, throwing that schedule out of whack, but most years, there's a snow cycle we can generally count on.

The cycle usually starts in November.  It begins with a few flurries, a bit of wet snow and graupel.  Then, at some point before Christmas we that first official snowfall.   Snow that actually stays on the ground after it falls.  Sometimes, it's lasts through Christmas, (as it for us this year) other years, it disappears, lying in wait to reappear and stay for a spell in January.

By early March, most of us ready for snow to leave for good, or at least until next winter.  Sure, skiers, and kids wanting another snow day from school may still hope for snow, but the rest of us, we're tired of it.   The nights are still cold, and there's snow on the ground, but there's more daylight, with the sun providing more and more heat each day.

For me however, I'm still hoping a blizzard or two might be lurking, waiting to arrive when we least expect it.  It was a snow December here, but January and February, although cold and windy, didn't really give us a really good dumping of snow.

It seemed the perfect time then, to feature more of photographer Michael von Redlich and his snow filled shoot with model Isaac Green.  With spring just weeks away, I knew if I waited any longer, many FH would be looking for seasonal sightings of hot naked men frolicking in flowers, not freezing their cute buns off in the snow.

I featured the first two parts of this shoot in February.  The first part, (HERE:) featured Michael's images of Isaac inside, looking out at the fresh fallen snow while preparing for his frigid trek outside. In the second part, (HERE:) photographer and model head out to the back deck.  Although they left the warmth of the cabin, they were still sheltered a bit from the wind by the house and balcony roof.

In this series, Isaac has no where to hide, and no where to run from the freezing temperature, the wind and the cold.  As you can see, Isaac's fit, lean form doesn't provide much insulation from the elements.  Despite this, Isaac doesn't hide from the cold and snow, he embraces it.  Isaac not only sits in the snow, he dances, getting more and more energized as the shoot goes on.  Michael of course captures every beautiful moment, including his spirits rise with a vigorous burst of energy at the end of a very long day.
