'The size of his penis did not come up, however one certainly can't ignore it.'
Most of us have a part of ourselves that becomes a prominent piece of who we are. For some, it's a personality piece, humour, wit or intellect. For others, it's a skill or talent. For many people, it's a physical prominence, one that can either define of limit. Many people lean into it, while others spent a lifetime, hiding, or shying away. For me, it was my height. In school, I was usually the tallest in the class. In my family, all the boys were tall, all the girls were short. I wasn't especially outgoing as a young kid, and strived to blend in.

Despite so many people telling me how lucky I was to be tall, I never really felt it at the time. I remember being bugged by the school's basketball coach to try out for the team. After a few years, I finally relented. I wouldn't say the couch regretted it, but I never became a basketball star. I loved played hockey. I think this helped my speed on the court, but never made me anything but a 'ok' player. I only played for one year, and my coach.... seemed just fine with that.
It can really be a challenge for anyone with a prominent body part. Sure, a great face or body might be easier than say really big ears, but any body part that gains more attention than others has to at some point be accepted and managed.
This can be especially challenging for models, who work in an industry where every detail of their physical appearance is put under the microscope. You can't really look at model Jimmy Hawkins without noticing his most prominent part. Despite his handsome face, and beautifully long and lean physique, there's is just something that pulls and tugs focus.... As Alex warned Dan in Fatal Attraction, it can't or won't be ignored.
We've often heard it said that someone has a face meant for the big screen. This usually means they have a beautiful face that observers think belongs in the movies. Jimmy has a penis I'm sure some might think also belongs in films, adult films. Although penis size doesn't necessarily seem to be the most important thing in gay porn, it certainly still seems to be something producers of straight porn believe segments of their audiences want to see.
Photographer
Bob Burkhardt shares that although Jimmy was indeed drawn to the film industry, to his knowledge. it wasn't towards acting, or performing in adult films. Despite enjoying nude modeling, Jimmy's goal at the time of this shoot was focused on working behind the scenes. Bob shares that Jimmy eventually went on to be become a leading stylist in the film industry.
For Jimmy modeling was a great way to express himself creatively. It was actually another photographer that Jimmy had worked with, who suggested to Bob that they work together. Given Jimmy had experience modeling nude, there wasn't much discussion required prior to the shoot, other than both Bob and Jimmy verbally affirming they were eager to creatively collaborate.
'The shoot was a pleasure, truly great to work with. In addition to having a great sense of humor, he was professional and knew how to present himself. He needed little if any suggestions for me, if anything, I followed his lead.'
