12 Days: Julian Morris in A Royal Queens Christmas

'A prince finds his way to Queens during Christmas when a local woman enlists his help with a children's Christmas show.'

Normally I skip any Hallmark movie with the words 'Royal' or 'Prince' in the title.  I'm not really into royal romances, especially since the formula is usually the same.  They always start with some good looking, single European prince stuck somewhere in Christmas town U.S. A.  They meet a woman, usually working class, and decide to hide their wealth and royal connection.

I made an exception this past weekend and DVR's A Royal Queens Christmas.  It was an easy decision given the male lead was played by actor Julian Morris.  The Queens in this flick is Queens New York, and the prince is piano player who gets involved playing for a children's choir Christmas party.  The formula was the same, but Morris is so engaging and adorable and sold the story, even with a rather weak script.

I first started crushing on Morris back in 2008 when he appeared briefly as Dr. Andrew Wade on ER.  After he checked out of County General Hospital, Morris went on to appear  in numerous television shows and movies.  I've always been impressed with the actors choice of roles, and his many nude scenes.    Morris recently made headlines with by coming out on Instagram and sharing images celebrating his 18th anniversary with Landon Ross.
