Maybe it's much too early in the game

What are you doing New Year's, New Year's eve?

Given it's a night most people don't want to spend alone, when is too early to start planning for New Year's Eve? If you want a date, a reservation, you have to think about it early. f you want to go or have a party of your own, (pre-pandemic) you need time to organize. Even if you just want to stay home with a partner, snuggle in with Chinese take-out and a movie, time is not always on your side.
Planning for this holiday soiree, actually began in October. A New Year's Eve party however, wasn't initially endgame. It began when I saw an image that Brian (Briancan Photography) posted on his Instagram. I loved the shot, especially the model's pose, his strong body and striking facial structure. The model was Cayden Clay, and I immediately contacted Brian about a possible FH feature.
Brian was on board, so I then shot Cayden a message. Most of the images from Brian that I saw featured Cayden outside and on the beach and considered waiting and posting them next spring. I'm not known for my patience however, and was eager to to feature Brian's work with Cayden. As luck would have it, Brian messaged me that he and Cayden had an indoor shoot scheduled for December 14th.
I took the opportunity to ask both Brian and Cayden if they'd consider shooting a few New Year's Even themed shots during their time together. I expected maybe one or two shots of Cayden in a party hat but as you can see, they went above and beyond. Since no one should spend New Year's Eve alone, Cayden was joined by model Sterlingjock to capture both the big night, and the morning after.
'I had worked with Cayden and Sterlingjock before as a duo in an outdoor shoot earlier this year and they had great chemistry together. So it made sense to bring them together in the studio. Tye gets the credit for the New Year's Eve idea which worked really well. The models seem to like the idea of a new years eve shoot and coordinated the jock, shirts and ties which added to the look I like using this furnished studio as it provides an interesting backdrop for shoots like this. Obviously the sofa came in handy. LOL '
Cayden enjoyed the sofa and the many props and interesting backgrounds the studio provided.. Although he had previously met Sterlingjock when they worked with Brian last summer, this was the first time Cayden posed nude with another model. It was also nice celebrating the holiday, even a few weeks early, especially given the pandemic is going to mean the 31st is going to be quieter and more intimate than the previous New Year's Eve parties that Cayden usually goes to.
'Brian is very enthusiastic and encouraging; he takes suggestions and offer lots of ideas. The whole process runs pretty smoothly so I appreciate that. It was also nice to get creative with the props and gave us something to work since we weren’t modeling any clothes!'
