The Sit-Com Strip: Designing Women

I don't really remember much male skin from the sit-com Designing Women, well except for the shots of Rusty's butt crack.  Handyman Rusty, and his butt cleavage, was the source of comedy in several of the shows episodes.

I've seen most of the show now in repeats, but I usually stopped about the time Delta Burke and Jean Smart left the show.  That's one reason I'd never seen this scene before.  It occurs in the first episode of season six, after Burke and Smart announced their departures.  Julia Duffy and Jan Hooks were now on the show, with Smart appearing for the last time in The Big Desk,  the first episode of the season.

Designing Women
The Big Desk
Original Airdate: September 1991

After Suzanne moves to Japan to live with her mother and take advantage of their economic boom, her and Julia's cousin Allison, who tried to make it in New York but failed, purchases her share of Sugarbaker & Associates. As Charlene goes to England to be with Bill, her recently divorced younger sister, Carlene Dobber, who had come to take care of Olivia, takes her place. Meanwhile, Mary Jo hires a male stripper for Julia's birthday.

The hot blonde stripper was played by Michael J. Kuhlman, who was not credited for the episode.  Kuhlman also appeared on the sit-coms Evening Shade and Cafe American as played another stripper on Days of Our Lives in 1995.
