Max Thieriot: Big Dog

Except for Survivor, I don't currently watch much on CBS. Most of their hour long dramas aren't really for me.  Most, just seem to look for every possible way to abuse, assault, abduct, and mistreat others for entertainment value.  It's  seems like the writers are in some sort of morbid competition to torture human beings in the most creative way.  All of these horrible crimes are also solved by a television star, usually one beloved by the senior citizen set.

I did however, get a bit hot and bothered by all the promos for the new CBS drama Fire Country?  I'm not sure how missed how buff actor Max Thieriot has become.  I crushed a bit of Max when co-starred on Bates Motel, but haven't really seen too much of him since.  I know he joined SEAL Team for a bit, but that was another CBS procedural, I try hard to avoid.

Max has grown up in front of our eyes, starting his career back in the 2000's when he was just 16.  Not, he's grown up, and out, having bulked up looking incredibly hot in those Fire Country promos, even fully covered in his orange jump suit.  Usually he's the co-star, but it looks like in Fire Country,  Thieriot: will be the top dog, as the star of the hour long drama.

I may have to DVR the pilot when it airs in October, just in case Max drops that orange jumpsuit for a shirtless scene.  Not sure why CBS is airing the show on Friday's, that's either a sign they don't have much hope for it, or they think it will be a big draw.  Friday is currently a network graveyard for TV, but there was time, when some of the highest rated shows (think Dallas) aired on Friday nights.

Below, a little gift from Max from his Instagram
