Superman

I have to admit, I didn't watch much of Superman and Lois.  I was excited when it began, and caught the first half-dozen episodes or so, but quickly got a little bored.  I do love me some Tyler Hoechlin, and the entire cast was good.  I was especially drawn to Clark's relationships with his sons.  Maybe I'll give it another try, so many shows that I've grown to love were shows I watched long after they were on the air.

When it comes to the actors who have played Superman, most are more than swoon worthy.  Tyler Hoechlin however, is definitely one of the hottest.  Maybe it was because he modeled early in his career, but Hoechlin doesn't seem to mind flaunting his hot torso.  More than any other actor who has worn the cape, I think Hoechlin has given us the most shirtless visuals, in images and on screen.

Jimmy Olsen can often be a thankless role.  Although I remember the cute actors who played Jimmy on Lois & Clark, it was mostly because I was avid watcher of the show.  I had to Google to remember Aaron Ashmore's turn as Jimmy on Smallville, and that Marc McClure played him alongside Christopher Reeve in the 70's and 80's.  McClure also popped up in the 1984 Supergirl film.

When played by the right actor however, Jimmy can make an impression, as actor Skyler Gisondo managed to do in the most recent film version.  Gisondo made such an impression, that James Gunn is said to be considering a Jimmy Olsen project, most likely something for television.

I grew to love and admire Gisondo when tuning into try season one of The Righteous Gemstones. (below)  It was actually Gisondo's character Gideon, who I consider my gateway character into the show.  I'd seen many clips of the male nudity in the series, but a nude clip  usually isn't enough to have  me try a show.  For some reason, nothing really drew me to the show, until finally giving it try this past spring.

It was really Gideon's storyline in the first season that really drew me in, and am I so glad I stuck with it.  The Righteous Gemstones ended up being one of my favorite television shows ever.  The entire cast is amazing, especially creator, writer and actor Danny McBride who is so talented and amazing.  I also love me some Judy Gemstone, played by equally talented and hilarious Edi Patterson.

I hope Gunn proceeds with a Jimmy Olsen project as I'd watch Gisondo in anything.  He's been acting for years, but until now I've managed to miss most of his work.  In addition to his talent, he has such a unique look.  Although he's 29 years old, his cut face sometimes makes him look like a teenager, while at other times, like a cute old man.

Henry Cavill: Fitted Suit

'All this time I've been living my life the way my father saw it. Righting wrongs for a ghost, thinking I'm here to do good. Superman was never real. Just the dream of a farmer from Kansas..'

As much as I love me some Henry Cavill, I have never seen even a minute of him as Superman.  I've avoided most of Zack Snyder directed superhero movies, although did enjoy his turn directing 2009's Watchmen.  That being said, I have to acknowledge that the British actor maybe looked the hottest in his Superman suit.

Whenever a hot actor puts on a costume, especially a tight fitting one, we're all looking at how they fill it out.  We compare them to the other actors who squeezed into the spandex and cape and looks for the muscles and bulges.  With Cavill though, I think we were all looking forward to seeing how he squeezed his incredible, and ample ass, into his tights.

Even before Cavill's superhero movies were released, there were 'behind the scenes' shots from the set, most focused on Henry's heinie bulging from the back of the costume.  It's impossible to ignore such a magnificent site, and I think the actors butt, even unplanned, was a huge part of the movie's early press and promotion.

Lucky for us, we didn't have to imagine what was hiding under that tight fitting suit.  Thanks to a couple of nude scenes from his early role in The Tutors, we know how super Henry's haunches really are.  You can see my previous post, featuring a video clip of the full scene below, on FH HERE:
