FLYBOY!

'Jeremy Webb is a 24 year old flying corps veteran whose primary mission is to please!'

Last week while scrolling through my time-line on Twitter, I saw the cover above posted on Playgirl's Twitter Page.  Although I purchased many Playgirl magazines in the 90's and 2000's, for some reason I missed this issue from March 1997.  I recognized the model in the middle, but couldn't quite place him.

A quick search identified the model as Jeremy Webb.  Webb appeared in the magazine several times, and under several names, in the 1990's and 2000's.  He also appeared in many other magazines and in videos during this time.

With his great body and GQ sculped face, I had to find out more.  Check out some of my favorite shots of this hot flyboy on the NEXT PAGE HERE:

Pearls of Wisdom

'My drama teacher at school just took the mickey out of me. He was always making snidey little comments, trying to put me down.  I've proved him wrong though, haven't I?'
Tom Wisdom

I think I saw 2005's Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants when it fist came out as a 'new release' on DVD,  I really liked it, but not enough to watch part 2 when it was released in 2008.  I feel like I've seen it, as its on television all the time.  I remember watching a few scenes, including the scene with Jesse Williams posing for art class but I have to watch the entire film.

It was on television again last weekend, and again I saw it as I was flipping through channels.  Even with digital tv and their channel guide, I'm still a fan of flipping through channels.  This time, as I was going from channel to channel I stopped on part 2 of the franchise because of a scene between  Carmen (America Ferrera) and a character named Ian. (Tom Wisdom)

Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2 (2008)

' Carmen, that was incredible!'
Ian

I stopped after seeing the face above and wondering who the actor was.  I really should have heard of actor Tom Wisdom before, but I had to Google to find out who he was.   Although I heard of many of the actor's projects, I think this film was the first time I saw him on-screen.

Mile High (2003-2005)

Tom began his career on English television with roles on shows including; Coronation Street,  Black Hearts in Battersea, Brand Spanking New Show and the airport series Mile High.  I'd heard of Mile High, mostly because of Paul Telfer's nude scene, (HERE) but I'd never actually saw the show.  Although Wisdom showed a lot of skin, he didn't have any actual nude scenes on the show.

Wisdom, and his traveling pants, have mostly stayed on, that is except for a turn on the fantasy show Dominion. Check out a scene from that show below.

A Little Story: Noah by The Male Image

'In this series,  featuring Queer Artists in San Francisco, I have set out to capture artists, creating their art in their environment and showcase how they create some of the work that I have admired.'

As regular FH readers know, in addition to showcasing artists, models and striking imagery, I strive to tell stories.  With every feature, I attempt to tell a tale through the comments and the placement of images.  The goal, to tell the story of the creative collaboration through a a rhythm and flow, with a beginning, a middle and a satisfying conclusion.

There are many ways to tell a story and poems, through words, rhythm and flow, are essentially short stores.  The goal is to not only to tap into the readers imagination, but a specific spot in their emotional core.  When Joe Mazza (The Male Image) sent on this series with Noah, words were not necessary.  The images gave us a quick but definitive glimpse into Noah's life, loves and passions.

Through his work with Noah, Joe's visuals share as much or  more about who Noah is, than if he'd written a brief biography.  Simply reading that Noah is a poet would not have had the same emotional impact.  The mood set through Joe's images, as well as Noah's poses and poetry, tell us so much more than just simple facts, the take the viewer closer, mirroring the intimacy of Noah's work and process.

'Noah is a poet and I was so struck but the gentleness of his spirit and the power of his words. A few of his poems touched issues of the heart that I have been struggling with lately and they really brought me comfort. He has a depth and calmness about him as well as gift for expression in his poetry that I knew he’d be a perfect addition to a series I have been working on.'

In this series, featuring Queer Artists in San Francisco, I have set out to capture artists, creating their art in their environment and showcase how they create some of the work that I have admired. I have shot painters, dancers, sculptures, glass blowers, film makers and in Noah, a poet.'

All my words are prayers
all my prayers are heard
all my songs are love
all my life is a song

When Joe reached to Noah via Instagram, he had crystal clear concept of the what he wanted to capture in his head.  When he explained his vision to Noah, he was immediately excited about the concept, and the shoot. Noah lives in the Haight-Ashbury neighborhood of San Francisco and welcomed Joe into cozy apartment for the shoot.

'We shot early to capture the morning light. My goal was to tell a little story from the moment we wakes up, has his coffee, walks the two blocks to Golden Gate park to soak up the sun, then home again to relax and write his poetry. This series represents that story. This was such a lovely collaboration with such a beautiful soul who effortlessly opened his heart and welcomed me into a very intimate part of Noah's life.'
