Free the Peach!

I'm a week behind watching Hallmark's Finding Mr. Christmas, and just finished episode three.  It was sad to see model Parker Gregory be told to unhook his stocking as I thought he'd be one of the front runners.  Parker has personality plus, but unfortunately wasn't always able to let it shine when the spotlight was on.  The main reason he was booted?  For talking too much about his wife and family.

I can understand it could being annoying, especially if you're trying to promote a Hallmark hunk fantasy to the legions of viewers.  At the same time, it was also so sweet, and something they could have used as it made him even more likable.   I loved Parker for awhile now, and have featured him many time on FH over the last 15 or so years.  Back in 2009, Parker was #1 on my list of favorite male models in my readers poll.

'Guess I'll just have to create a private page somewhere with nothing but butt peach shots since IG likes to censor everyone except those they allow.   #Free the Peach!'

The quote above was Parker's from his Instagram Page.  Parker was frustrated that so many of us butt pictures were being deleted.  Sadly, Finding Mr. Christmas didn't have a butt off contest, or Parker might still be competing for the garland crown.

To celebrate Parker's time on the show, and to show the judges what they're missing, I thought it appropriate to provide a pace for Parker's peach and present some of my favorite shots of Parker's posterior from over the years!

Campus Watch:

'Tt's a not a remake, it's more a recreation, another chapter to the story.'

I'm about half-way through the reimagining of Cruel Intentions on Prime, and thus far, it's addictively watchable.  As a big fan or source material, the 1999 film, I think the writers and producers did a great job of being faithful to the premise, without being an exact duplicate.  The basic story is virtually the same, but there have been enough changes to make it original.

With the casting of the original being so iconic, (Ryan Phillippe, Sarah Michelle Gellar. Reece Witherspoon and Selma Blair) I'm sure the casting was a challenge.  For the most part, I think the producers did a great job, especially the casting of John Kim, (Blaise) and Sara Silva, (CeCe) but there are a few choices in key roles who aren't doing it for me.  Still, the story moves quickly, and the acting is decent, with the stronger actors saving most of the scenes they're in.

Another casting choice I definitely approve of is Zac Burgess as Lucien Belmont.   Lucien is the 'Sebastian' character, originally played by Phillippe.  It took a moment to get my head around the casting as Burgess has an entirely different vibe than Phillippe.  But, he's equally as hot as the campus slut, conspiring with his step-sister with a bet to bed her.

Burgess is incredibly flirty, with everyone, but although he's the perfect age to play the character, (Burgess is 22) still seems a little young for all the sexual manipulation he's involved in.  Not that a 22 year old can't be sexually manipulative, but Burgess looks like he could pass for 5 or 6 years younger.  The Australian actor is incredibly charming though, not to mention sexually adorable, he's like a television version of actor Timothée Chalamet.  I was going to say a younger version, but given Chalamet is only 28, that would really be 'too soon.'

Although Lucien has plenty of sex, the show has chosen to shoot most of his scenes of skin to ensure were teased, but don't actually see too much.  That being said, they still worked to get me going.  His butt scene in the pilot was purposely shot with him the background, out of focus, yet, when in the shower, even though we didn't see much, was still an incredibly hot scene.

Random Exposures: Steven's Story

'I connected with Steven through an add he placed on Craigslist.'

With my recent explorations into model motivations, it's the perfect time to feature Steven.  As much as I love profiling professional models, I equally love featuring non-models, everyday men whose motivations are often more complex.  With professional models, the motivations are usually more straightforward, given it's their job, it's naturally connected more to cash and their career.   With other models, men posing nude for other reasons, the stories tend to be far more interesting, and far more personal.

Over the years working on FH, I've heard hundreds of different stories from men about why they chose to take it all off, usually posing in front of a total stranger.  For some it's part of a goal, the cherry on the top of a fitness journey.  For some, it's about their sense of self, using the shoot process as an empowering experience of self love, and self-acceptance. Others have mentioned wanting the images not obtain work, but to use as visual bait for future sexual encounters.  This was part of Steven's story.

Although George from Random Exposures  has shot professional models, his focus is usually men and women looking for more than just additional shots for their modeling portfolio.  That was certainly the case with Steven.  George actually found Steven through a glitch in his plans for an upcoming trip to Venice Beach.  The trip was supposed to be a vacation for he and his wife, but fate intervened with a totally different plan.

'My wife and I were actually going to Venice Beach together. Shortly before the trip however, she began having severe tooth pain. She had to get a root canal. It was too late to cancel the reservation so instead of loosing our deposit, she encouraged me to still go, and assured me she'd be fine with a friend taking care of her.  So....I ended up on the trip alone. I seized the opportunity and reached out to several models in the area, both male and female, through Model Mayhem.'

In addition to several female models, George managed to schedule time with three male models, Ivan, Kim and Joel, all who came to the place that George was staying in for their shoots.  A forth  model answered as well, but Steven was insistent that he wanted George to come to his pace in Santa Monica to shoot.

Although George generally shoots in his own home studio, when traveling, locations are often more fluid, and it wasn't uncommon for him to got to a models home for a shoot.  For may, it's their comfort zone, especially if their modeling nude for the first time.  Sometimes, artists use shooting in a models home as an accelerated method of really getting to know more intimate sides of the subjects, as nothing reveals who a person truly is, like their most personal space.

As soon as George arrived, he and Steven conducted the usual introductory pleasantries.  Steven showed George around the house, and then introduced him to the current love of his life, his adorable dog.  George loves dogs, but he was more interested in the house and it's rooms, looking for the best locations to shoot.

Steven soon shared that his Craigslist ad to model nude, wasn't really so much about modeling, as it was about acquiring hookup partners.  Steven seemed a little perplexed when George began setting up his camera equipment.  He shared with George that he wasn't actually used to 'real' photographers answering his ad.  Usually, it was answered by men wanting other things.  Sometimes they pulled out their phone and took a photog or two for their personal use, but none, as George just did, had handed him a model release before.

Steven seemed a little disappointed that George wasn't there to hook up, but to just take photos.   Since he was already there though, Steven decided he might as well take advantage of the opportunity, and thought he might get some great photos to post for future potential hookups.   I thought when I went through George's portfolio, and spotted his work with Steven, there might be a story there.  I thank George for sharing both!

Blast from the Past: Robert Drivas

Every November, when searching for men to spotlight on their birthdays, I remember that I still haven't done a post on actor and director Robert Drivas.   Drivas was born on November 21st, and although I don't usually do birthday posts on men who have passed, I wanted to honor Drivas for his body of work.

To be honest, I wasn't really familiar with Drivas work when I first saw his images.  It was awhile ago, when I first got a computer and got on-line.  Of course I was searching for images of the nude male form, and discovered the old Campfire Video site.  I believe it was there, that I first saw caps of Drivas getting a nude massage in the 1969 film Where It's At.

Cool Hand Luke (1967)

Where It's At (1969)

A "Sixties Generation" comedy about an offbeat father-son relationship. Dad runs a Las Vegas hotel-casino and his son is a college student with a different set of moral and ethical standard.

Drivas nude scene in Where It's At isn't so much sexual, and you don't really see much, but to me, it's incredibly erotic.  In the scene, A.C (David Janssen) and his son Andy, (Drivas) are getting a nude massage on the rooftop of A.C's Vegas Hotel.  Love how the massage givers don't hold back from giving Andy a good butt rub.

The Illustrated Man (1969)

Although he appeared in a few television guest shots, Drivas only did a handful of movies from 1967 through 1977.  His main passion, and the majority of his roles, were on stage with an impressive Broadway resume, starting in the late 1950's.   The same year that Where It's At was released, Drivas also appeared in The Illustrated Man.  The movie has an interesting concept, and Drivas appears nude, taking a quick skinny dip, during the films opening credits.
