So what's the difference between a Hallmark Stud and a Hallmark Bud, not much really. Both are the romantic leads, and both are played by incredibly hot actors. Buds tend to be more 'character parts', with a bit more depth than the usual Hallmark hunk. They also tend to be guys, and play characters, that if you can't have romantically, you'd also love to be friends with.
Tyler Hynes has been making Hallmark movies for years, but for some reasons, he only peaked my radar this last holiday season. I'd seen him before, but saw him in two films in December that had me take notice. The magic of a Hallmark bud, and a Hallmark stud, is they have you watching even when them movie is lame. Holiday Touchdown wasn't a great flick, but thanks to Hynes, I made it to the happy ending.
I first discovered hottie Antonio Cupo as a model, and in non-Hallmark films, but recently discovered he's made quite a few Hallmark movies. I'm not sure I've seen any of his Christmas movies, but I have seen his Thanksgiving Hallmark film.
I'd never heard for actor Michael Xavier until seeing him 2020's Christmas on Wheels. I was instantly smitten, and have found several of his previous holiday films. If you haven't seen him on Hallmark, some fans of the male form may have caught Xavier during his run on Bitten.
HutchI first noticed, and the posted about, actor Jesse Hutch after catching his turn as Peter on the ABC drama Once Upon A Time. I was instantly smitten. The Canadian hottie has been several Hallmark films, but the first time I saw him it was in a holiday flick produced by another company. In 2017's Snowmance, we get a great shirtless shot spotlighting Hutch's hot and hairy chest.
