Seasonal Sightings:
When you're running late for that first day of classes, sometimes in order to move faster, you need to lighten the load. Since you can't ditch your books, there are only a few options left.
Back to Class! ✏️
'Today is the first page of a new book. Make it a good story!'
Dickionary: Stephen Jung by Frisky Frolic
No matter when you attended school, either fifty years ago, or five, things have changed. It's impossible to list all of the things students no longer get to experience or use. Dictionaries, trapper keepers, calculators, overhead projectors card catalogues and in many schools, even peanut butter sandwiches.. I used to especially love the smell of the wood shaving from manual pencil sharpeners, and the inevitable mess on the floor when the tiny storage compartment became full.
I attended University from the late 1990's into the early 2000's. By then, most people had access to a computer. There was still however, so much information not on-line. This meant still heading to the library for research. I spent countless hours at the library and the school archives, doing research with a microfilm reader. I think by now, most content has been digitalized, but I know they're still used in schools, businesses and museums to preserve archival materials
Anatomy Class:
I had to check to see if they actually still use life, naked humans for basic anatomy classes. Indeed some schools of learning actually still do. Today however, most of those nude bodies are cadaveric, usually specially prepared for use in classrooms and donated for the purpose of learning.
