Seasonal Sightings:

Although it's on Boxing Day that Twixmas officially beings, the 26th can also be an unboxing day.  Taking all of gifts you received out of their boxes, and trying them on or out.  Remember the days of getting board games, and then bugging your relatives and friends to play.  I know today's theme is about comfy clothes, but sometimes we're at most comfortable, in no clothes at all.

A Onesie in the Woods

'The weather wasn’t exactly warm but there was little wind and the onesie certainly helped.'
Brain

Earlier this month, I closed out Autumn on the site with a series featuring Hunter, (Sterlingjock) shot by Briancan Photography. (HERE:)  Hunter, never one to deny his animal instincts, has shot enough outside in the cold to always be erectly ready and cosily prepared. For this shoot, the concupiscent  Canadian brought along his onesie to warm up if needed.  You don't often see onesie's in the wild, but just like spotting a raccoon during the day, wen you see one, it's a memorable moment.

Manfred: Gray Matters

'A gray day provides the best light.
Leonardo da Vinci

When it comes to Twixmas, so many opt to relax in vibrant color.  The holiday red and green's bright blues and colorful plaids.  It's important to point out however, that gray matters.  As the São Paulo Brazil model Manfred beautifully demonstrates, a little gray.... can go a long way. If you're hibernating alone this holiday season, or with a loved one, excluding family of course, especially your grandmother or that odd uncle, there is nothing like a white tank top and a pair of gray briefs.

So many think that gray is the color connected to boredom, or gloom and doom.  But the color's  neutrality also represents calmness and balance.  It's also known for it's visual to connection to sophistication and authority.  So.. if you're taking on the dominant role this festive season, a little gray may be in order.

Bob Burkhardt: Romper Room

'I love men coming out of their clothes and long johns just creates so many options for undressing... '

When I was planning this year's Twixmas themed posts, I knew just who to go to.  Photographer Bob Burkhardt often includes the comfy loungewear in his shoots.  I always assumed it was because they cling so tightly to the male form, sensually outlining every muscle, curve and appendage.   Although I'm sure it's part of the reason, Bob had another answer when I asked him about his use of the tight fitting fashion.

I love a good reveal, and some of my favorite visuals features models in the process of dressing and undressing.  As much as I love a full nude shot, nothing beats a sensual series of reveal. There's a unique degree of vulnerability to the act of dressing and undressing.  Normally, something we do in private, usually without much thought, becomes a sexy and provocative performance.

For Bob, there's also the nestle factor.  For most of us, we wear our onesies when we feeling totally free and totally comfortable. The one piece jump suits evoke feelings of comfort and relaxation, of course erotic relaxations.  They have you wanting to snuggle up with the hot hunk wearing them.  Just the two of you during a snowstorm, with nothing but time on your hands, in some isolated cabin in the woods.
