'A local champion skier and Vermont brew master team up as an unlikely match to create a seasonal microbrew, in order to save her family's business by Christmas.'
When I got home the other evening and flicked on the television, I caught the very end of one of Hallmark's holiday movies. On screen was the perfectly chiseled face of an actor I've featured on
FH n the past. It's been awhile, over a decade in fact, but I'd previously spotlighted model and actor
Ryan McPartlin in a few birthday posts in the early days of the site.
After a few years of playing football, the Chicago based McPartlin took the trek west to pursue an acting career. With his great body and classically handsome face, he quickly began getting work as a model, spending several years working with Abercrombie & Fitch. If you were following male models in the 2000's and 2010's, you couldn't miss seeing McPartlin in magazines and in campaigns.
Acting roles quickly followed with his first role being on an episode of the sit-com The Nanny. McPartlin also spent a couple of years on the soap Passions, which as you can see from his shower scene below, they found many ways to get his character Hank out of his clothing.
In addition to his soap role, and his Hallmark films, McPartlin appeared on many television shows including reteaming with The Nanny star Fran Drescher on the short lived WB sit-com Living With Fran in 2005. I'm guessing many of your also remember McPartlin from the his 5 years on the NBC sit-com Chuck. I remember that shows ensured there were plenty of shirtless scenes for his characters.
As I mentioned, I only saw a bit of the end of A Very Vermont Christmas, but given the network often repeats it's holiday films, I'm going to have to check it out if it airs again. There was something sort of comforting about seeing McPartlin's handsome and familiar face.

Below: Poor Mayim Bialik had the dirty job of touching up McPartlin's abs when they starred together in the 2015 Lifetime Christmas movie The Flight Before Christmas,

Chuck
