Preaching to the Choir

For some reason I felt the need today to address my view on politics and the site. Warning, scroll down now if you'd like to skip. (I most likely would)  I think most people who check out FH on a regular basis know where I stand politically.  I also am someone who tends to obsess about the current political situation, and the damage that it being done every day.  That's why, I look to escape from time to time.  I dive into a book, a movie or activity, and writing and working on FH.

That's why it's so important to me, that as much as possible, I keep FH a safe space.  A place you can visit and take a mental break from the horrors around us.  I hate when I'm enjoying a television show, and then his ugly orange face pops up during a commercial.  I want to avoid that here.  I also know that, for the most part, I'd be preaching to the choir.  

I guess what I really wanted to say, is that my silence on this site is not my ignoring what's happening.  I'm not furious about what's going on.  I've chosen however, to express this this in my community, in my city, and on my personal social media page. But just know, I'm as angry, frustrated and sad about the recent murders of  Renee Good and Alex Pretti. you are.   I am though, not the least bit shocked.  

The orange anus is responsible for hundreds of thousands of deaths.  It's estimated that as high as 40% of the Covid related deaths in the US can be connected to his lies.  Remember 'It's going to disappear'  and 'within a couple of days is going to be down to close to zero,'.  This was back in February 2020.  That was of course the tip of the iceberg.  There was all the mocking of reporters for wearing masks, and vilifying Dr. Fauci, an American hero.   There are also the dozens of deaths reported from within ICE facilities, not to mention all the other fatal, and health related issues due to his ignorant and uneducated policies. He has never, nor is capable of caring ab out anyone but himself and his wealth.  

The damage he's done, and the trauma he's brought will last decades.  Most people aged 20 and under, have lived half of their lives with this sociopath in their lives.  Like Covid, the impact won't disappear quickly.  I can only hope the tragic deaths of Good and Pretti will in some sad way be the beginning of the end of his reign of terror, trauma and death.   It's time for all of us, like the people of Minnesota, to say enough and finally get the orange ass wipe out of our lives for good.  Sorry choir, on to the next hymn... 

The Fitness Butler

Don't you love a slow burn.  Even more than a slow burn, an unexpected one.  That's exactly what happened to me when I watched this season's UK version of The Traitors.  The UK, non-celebrity version, is always for me, the best of the show.  No reality stars trying to grab a second fifteen minutes of fame.  It's usually just regular people, trying to achieve their first.

There were several hotties on this year's UK version, but Jack slipped under my radar, at least at first.  As the season went on however, his personality, his sweetness, and the obviously hot body under his jeans, slowly pushed him to the top, making him one of my favorites.

I won't spoil the show for those of you who haven't watched, but I will unveil a little of what was under the always clothed contestant.  Jack labels himself 'The Fitness Butler', and certainly serves plenty of hot shirtless and fitness shots and videos on his Instagram Page.  Although he played nice on the show, he obviously works hard to maintain his impressive physique.

A Multitude of Men

'When you elect a clown, you get a circus.'

So, that video clip I saw on Twitter is the one below.  It's a scene from Athena, a 1954 musical comedy featuring Debbie Reynolds, Jane Powell, Vic Damone and Steve Reeves.  It also featured bodybuilder, model and actor Richard Dubois, who I previously featured on FH HERE:  Although I'd heard of the film, I hadn't seen it, nor knew much about it, but the scene below, had me looking for a copy.

The door opens, and a bey of beefy bodybuilders come out.  Each with those buffed bodies from muscled hunks from the 50's and 60's.  I have not finished Athena, but I did watch enough to be highly entertained.  The scene as I mentioned, also inspired me to put together a piece with two similarly themed videos. 

Swim Meat...

Now the video below is completely different, yet there is a similar theme.  It popped up on Twitter, but with no information.  Clearly it's at the end of a swimming competition, and it's really hot.  That one lucky lady standing in her dress, hugging and greeting a slew of hot swimmers as they exit the pool.  One incredible swimmer's build after another.

Enter stage right

Sorry again, but I have no info about this video.  But... the clown car theme is in full effect.  Dozens of strippers enter the area from stage left, one after the other.  Not sure where this is, or what the competition was, but judging must have been fun.
