Seasonal Sightings:

I know it's spring, but given we had a 'surprise spring snow' this week, thought it was fine to temporarily reach back for a snowy scene.

Marcello Hernández in Dying for Sex

'When Molly is diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer, she abandons her husband of 15 years and begins to fully explore her sexuality.'

I wasn't prepared...  I read a bit about the new Hulu mini-series, Dying for Sex, but I wasn't prepared. Based on a podcast of Holly Kochan's final life journey,  Holly, with the help of her bestie Nikki, try to fulfill Holly's dying wish of going out on a big sexual bang.

Part of that sexual bang includes, of course plenty of sex.  I haven't watched yet, but I wasn't prepared for all the scenes featuring male nudity, especially the one featuring the delicious Marcello Hernández.  Marcello gave us a tease of his butt cheeks on SNL, but he gives us a much fuller view on the show, and he certainly doesn't disappoint.  Marcello beautifully found bubble butt was certainly worth the wait!

Spring Tune-Up: Isaac by Michael von Redlich

'I'm so excited for all of the colors that spring will bring, as well as more car photography.'

I've been writing recently about the signs of spring.  Most are visual, or hit and affect the human bodies senses in some way.  Others... are more practical or habitual.  For many of us, spring also means it's time to take our cars in for their annual spring tune-up.

I know some people choose to do winter tune-ups, but given how much snow we get in the rural area where I live, I don't do as much recreational driving in the winter.  It's during the summer I take road trips, head to the city and visit my siblings, some who live a six hour drive away.  I usually wait until April, and after our last snow.  I'm hoping the spring dump of the white stuff we got this week was the last, meaning it's time for me to make an appointment.

The last time we saw model Isaac Green, it was in the dead of winter.  New Hampshire based model was naked, shivering his ass off, as photographer Michael von Redlich captured Isaac surrounded by ice and snow. (HERE:)  Since I've featured Michael's work with Isaac throughout the fall and winter, it only made sense celebrate their work with a spotlight in spring.

As a huge car enthusiast, model Isaac was excited when Michael suggested they shoot with a collection of modern and classic automobiles.   Michael sent along several different shoots with Isaac posing on, and in a series of cars.  This series, featuring Isaac tinkering under the hood of a Honda CRV, was one of my favorites.

'Shooting with these cars is such a blast, though I often get distracted by their beauty and have trouble preventing myself from nerding out about the details with the owners.'

It was a little warmer on the day of this shoot, than the January shoot in the snow.  It wasn't exactly warm though, and there was still quite a chill in the air.  Isaac remembers that the heat from under the hood provided a bit of a refuge, keeping his sensitive bits nice and toasty.  If only all car mechanics worked naked like Isaac.  Repair shops would make a fortune and it would make those spring tune up appointments a lot more fun.

Helping Hand

We all need a little support sometimes, especially when we're a little unbalanced and taking a risk.

Grant Show: Still the Face

Thinking back, I didn't really watch much of Melrose Place when it aired in the 1990's.  I sort of thought I had, but I think I knew most of what I knew about the show, from reading Entertainment Weekly.  I was in University for most of the mid to late 1990's and really didn't watch television during that time.

I do vividly remember however, watching the pilot and first handful of episodes.  I think I stopped watching regularly about half-way through season 1.  I still tuned in from time to time, mostly for those Melrose men, but by about season 3 or 4, when most of the original cast was leaving, I stopped watching entirely.

Still, I have a soft, or maybe hard spot, for the men or Melrose, especially actor Grant Show.  Show was one of the hottest men on television during the 1990's, and has continued to work steadily sine Melrose went off the air.  I recently was reading an article on another yet Podcast,, Still the Place.  The podcast, hosted by cast members Courtney Thorne-Smith, Daphne Zuniga, and Laura Leighton, takes a a deep dive episode by episode into the series.

I'm sort of getting a little bored with the amount of podcasts out there, none of us have time to listen to, but I decided to give this one a shot. So far, I've listened to only a few episodes, the last, with Grant Show as the guest.  Even though I didn't watch the show regularly, I love behind the scenes commentary on TV shows, and this podcast doesn't disappoint.   To be honest, I really wasn't expecting much, but the three women are great.

Although they're co-hosts, I would say Leighton is the main moderator, pushing along the conversation and keeping her co-hosts on track. I love hearing about their auditions, working for Aaron Spelling and being a part of a television phenomenon.   All three hosts do a great job at putting their experience on the show in perspective, and although they're not really 'dishing' or 'spilling the tea', there is a still a lot of interesting info about what it was like to be a part of a huge show.

I didn't remember, but Melrose Place had 32 episodes a season, at least in the first few years.  Thinking about the 8 and 10 episode steaming series we get now, some, that take years in-between seasons, it's incredible to think they were able to put out so many one hour episodes every year.  I decided to try to re-watch some of the first season, this time starting with episode 21.

From listening to the podcast, I knew this is when Heather Locklear joined the show, and when they officially moved from one hour stand alone episodes, to the soap opera, continuing story formula.  The episode, Picture Imperfect, also features Mitchell Anderson as male underwear model.  Given it was a network show, you saw a bit more of Mitchell than you'd expect.  You can check out caps on FH HERE:

Melrose was known for showing a bit of skin every episode, and unlike many shows, it was mostly the male cast members stripping down.  I think Grant Show was shirtless in pretty much every episode of the first season.  His main credit scene, opening the scene shirtless, is an iconic moment of television shirtlessness.  Grant gives a bit of detail on the scene on the podcast.

Although Show hasn't done much on-screen nudity, he has shown his butt twice on screen.  He's also given us plenty of hot shirtless scenes over the years.  Check out his two brief butt baring scenes and take a trip down a shirtless Show memory lane on the NEXT PAGE HERE:

12 Days: Brendan Morgan in Shari's Second Act

Shari just moved back to D.C. after a breakup and hopes to start painting again. Inspiration hits when she meets Evan, a repairman who winds up actually being a gallery owner.

With the success of their movies, Hallmark has been inching into movie series over the last few years.  Usually it's two or three separate movies, that linked together by a common theme or character.  One of the most recent is the Hearts around the Table series.  The thread in this series, stems from a rather unique and creative idea.  A foster mother, played by Mindy Cohn, (The Facts of Life) has weekly dinners for many of the foster children she raised over the years.

Each week, the movie puts the love life of one of the characters in focus.  Although most of the cast is all of the films, in this case, for the family dinners, each movie stands on it's own with hit's own story.  This week's story was centered on Shari, played by Emmy winner Mishael Morgan.  I was half-watching the other day when the most beautiful man entered the scene.

Evan, played by actor Brendan Morgan is introduce as a construction worker, handy man who is working to renovate Shari's new home.  Spoiler, he turns out to be an artist, not to mention the owner of the building she's moving into, and if you haven't guessed already, love quickly hits the canvas.

I don't think I've seen the Canadian based Morgan in anything before, as if I had, I'm sure I would have remembered.  If you haven't guessed already, Morgan began as a model, but has also been acting the last four or five years.  In addition to appearing in several Hallmark films, he's also appeared in several Canadian filmed projects including The Handmaid's Tail.  I'll certainly be keeping my eye out for future projects!

Wet Dreams: Simon by Male Beauty by bengie

With the feeling that I get,
I don't even mind if I get wet

I wasn't sure what today's main feature would be, that was, until I woke up this morning.  I opened my bedroom drapes to soak in the light, but none came through.  It was dark and gloomy with heavy rain pouring down.  Not just gently falling drops of water, but sheets of rain pounding down and hitting the lawn.

The old phrase 'April showers bring May flowers' instantly popped into my head, as did this shoot that I'd tucked away for just the right rainy day.  I'm guessing many of you recognize London based model Simon King. Back in the early 2010's, Simon was an incredibly popular and in-demand model, shooting with some of my favorite UK based chroniclers of the male form.

One of those photographers who creatively collaborated with Simon was Male Beauty by bengie.  I first featured the Cheshire based Photographer's work with Simon a few years ago.  In those previous pieces, (HERE:) bengie captured Simon primarily outside, relaxing on his back deck and posing in the fields around his home.

In the previous sets that I featured, there was also plenty of sun to naturally light the area, not to mention Simon's incredible body.   Later in the afternoon however, things started to darken up.  The clouds covered the sun, and the rain began to come own.  Instead of stopping the shoot, Simon and bengie decided to take advantage of the weather to capture this series on the dirt, not muddy, road that leads to bengie's home.

Where I live, spring is synonymous with rain, we get regular downpours in April, May and June.  London and the UK is know for being rainy but in Cheshire however, where these shots were taken, April is actually the month that gets the least amount of yearly precipitation.   It's was just a lucky coincidence then, that bengie not only gave us spectacular shots of a naked Simon, but also this moisture inducing shoot featuring a naked and wet Simon as well.

If you're a fan of Seinfeld, you know that George Constanza felt short-changed after Jerry's girlfriend saw him naked after a swim in the pool.  George desperately argued it was the cold water that caused his penis to shrivel in like a frightened turtle.  Clearly, Simon's shaft is immune to chilly weather and cold water and maintains it's volume and dimensions regardless of weather it's wet or dry.

I loved that bengie grabbed an umbrella and rain poncho when the rain started to come down.  Normally, bengie doesn't use many props, or any fashion for that matter, in most of his shoots.  I'm guessing since bengie's photographic focus is the nude male form, it wasn't a coincidence that both the umbrella, and rain jacket, were completely transparent...
