Eurotrash

'The Boys in the Changing Room'

I know many of you remember seeing this video from the not so distant past.  Eurotrash was a 30-minute magazine-format program that aired in the UK and in Ireland from 1993 through 2004.  The show ran for close to 17 seasons, making it one of the UK's longest running late-night entertainment shows.

Now, even you don't remember, or never saw any Eurotrash, I'm guessing most of you have seen this segment from the show's 15th season.  It celebrated the first ever Dieux Du Stade calendar which was published back in 2001.  The video and the song, I think was also included in the 'extra features' on the first Dieux Du Stade DVD.

Although there were no full frontals on this television segment, there were plenty of hot and ample Rugby arses.  Thanks to Drake for posting the video on Dreamcap, and djunderground123 for helping with the download!

Shax Carter; Bobby's Beach Adventures Part One

'Bobby knows exactly what to do. I've never worked with a model like him!'

I know many FH viewers took notice of beautiful Bobby when he first appeared appeared in holiday post last December. (HERE)  I was messaging photographer Shax Carter about another story when he shared he was in the middle of shooting some Christmas shots of Bobby.  Shax also mentioned he had just released part 1 of a new series of photo essays titled Bobby's Beach Adventures.  I too was struck by Bobby's beauty, his hot body and his gorgeous face and eyes.

Regular FH readers know Shax doesn't shoot many one-off photoshoots, instead, he does more in-depth, personal focused photo stories with a focus on both character and form.  With Bobby, Shax focused one of his passions, spending time at the beach.  Bobby loves walking around without his shirt or shoes.  the sand sliding through his toes, the water washing over his body and the sun caressing his bare skin.

Both Shax and Bobby loved their time working together, and as soon as they were done, Shax was already thinking of future ideas, something more expansive. Shax has almost finished part 2, and even begun on a part 3.  Until then, I wanted to feature more of his work with Bobby, with a focus on their day at the beach.  Bobby's Beach Adventures had so many incredible images over it's 200 magnificent pages. These, are just a few of my favorites. Both Shax and Bobby also answered my questions about the shoot, and their time working together.

Initial Connection:
I never seriously considered modelling before connecting with Shax.  Part of me has always wanted to be an entertainer of some kind. Something artistic where I can be myself.

I connected with Bobby on one of the modeling websites that most people use. He was pretty receptive to the idea, Bobby's look was and is amazing. When I first saw his photos, he stood out to me as having a late 70's skater/surfer look, with amazing eyes and long hair, and I'd never seen a model with those qualities before.

Bobby shared with Shax that his modeling experience was pretty minimal, and had never posed nude before.  Shax sent him on a few of his previous books, so he'd know what to expect, and to share his focus on story focused shoots.   Shax chose not to ask too many questions initially, he wanted to let things flow naturally and see he modeling abilities as things unfolded.

Initial Nerves?
Bobby
I was very nervous starting out considering I had never done anything like this before. Shax was very professional though, and made it a breeze.

Shax
Bobby walked in confident and owned the room from the start. We clicked pretty much immediately and spent the day just working through the material and had a great time.

Challenges of Storytelling:
Bobby
It was challenging in some ways, but in others, it made it easier and fun. Once you get into the story you are trying to tell it almost makes it a game. We kept thinking of what would  make this even better, and how can we do more to play into this character.

Shax
I had the ability to check out the locations before he arrived, and came up with a basic plan. Once he arrived, we sort of followed the plan, and he was adding his thoughts and ideas to make things more substantial as we went along. Bobby has a great natural vibe and brings a lot of personality to the shoot.

Your Favorite parts about the shoot and working with Shax?

Bobby
My favorite part about working with Shax is that it doesn't really feel like work at all. He is such a great guy and an even better friend.  We get our shit done then we live it up like vacation.  We are always adventuring around our location of choice doing plenty of things behind the scenes. It worked out because us having fun around the location usually ended up with us creating some new ideas.

I'd say what stands out most is how easily we work together and how effortless he makes our shots look. We will shoot for 5 minutes, I'd  hit a couple poses and then Shax  would show me an amazing picture. We also just know each other by now, we don't need to do much talking when shooting. Shax points the camera and says "do something" and boom art.

Favorite Parts of the shoot and working with each Bobby?

Shax
I mean, what's not to like? He's an amazing model and has become a great friend. We click so well together and when the camera is out, Bobby knows exactly what to do. I've never worked with a model like him!  Bobby's ability to get the vibe of what we are doing from moment to moment is amazing. I don't think I've ever worked with a model who could jump in to work mode as fast as Bobby. He's an amazing talent.

Half of the fun of doing work like this, is traveling and sharing new experiences, seeing places that one wouldn't otherwise see. Bobby is so good at what he does, I don't really have to direct much. If the location is right and the wardrobe is right, all Bobby needs, is to be put into the situation and he just does it. He just goes, and I capture the images. It's magical, and doesn't feel like work at all.

'The first shoot with Bobby was a one day project, as I usually do with most new models I work with. It lasted a lot longer than most first initial shoots, and when I was able to go thru the images, I knew I wanted to work with him again. So I felt the easiest thing to do was find a bigger beach and do a multi day shoot. Bobby's Beach Adventures Part 2 is probably one of the best pieces of work I've ever done. Bobby really brought his his work ethic to the table and we had a great time. We have since created a third shoot, and tried to up the game even more, this time on an international level.'

Jacob Tierney: Showing off the Showrunner

Three are so many reasons Heated Rivalry was such a phenomenon.  Starting with the source material to the music and the brilliant acting.  At the forefront however, has to be the vision and mastery of writer, director and showrunner Jacob Tierney.  I'm sure there are many actors, especially those doing nude scenes, who question the choices of their director when it comes the work.  With Jacob, those choices come from experience.

Jacob's career in the arts began when he was just six years old.  From big screen hits like Josh and S.A.M to regular roles on television including on Dracula: The Series and Are you Afraid of the Dark.  Along the way, like breakout stars Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie, Tierney also did a few nude scenes.

Blood (2004)

Back in 2004, Tierney co-starred alongside Emily Hampshire, (Schitt's Creek) in the dark drama Blood.  It's difficult to describe the film other than to say it's like if Andy Warhol and Tennessee Williams worked together to write a play.  It's dark, it's odd, it's erotic.  It's also an intense character drama.

Both Hampshire and Tierney spent a lot of time wearing very little, with a few nude scenes in the second half of the film.  There's a dark, but quick frontal which required the pause button to 'barely see'.

Tierney also dropped trou in the 2016 romantic drama Lovesick.  In the film the Montreal born Tierney plays Dash, a broke, depressed  33 year old who is still in love with his ex.  It all seems hopeless until Dash meets Nora , a spontaneous and unforgettable woman. Timing is everything however, and Nora's not going to wait around.
